Hearing Hank Williams will always make me think of my Daddy. Hearing him sing Hanks songs. He's got stage 4 lung cancer. I need to get my Dad on video singing Hank.
I CAN'T HANK, I CAN'T. GREAT GLORIOUS GOD FROM EVERLASTING I WANT TO BE LIKE THE THIEF WHO ASKED THE MESSIAH TO "REMEMBER ME WHEN THOU COMEST INTO THY KINGDOM. HE ASKED AND HE WAS GIVEN GLORY AND THE LORD WAS WITH HIM ON THAT VERY DAY.
ALL BECAUSE HE DIDN'T REFUSE HIM AND BELIEVED AND TRUSTED HIM.
I LOVE HW. BUT I LOVE HIS GOSPEL'S THE BEST. AND EVEN MORE, WHEN HE JUST SINGS WITH HIS GUITAR.
Got a lot of problems going on in my life right now but Hank Sr always makes it a little bit better. Wish Hank was still here so I could tell him what I thought of his music. (I've told his grandson but I wish I could have met Sr. in person)
I was 4 years old when I heard my first Hank song, It still sounds so soothing even after all these years. Nobody sings them like Hank. He left us much too soon,
I believe that Hank Williams only drank to deal with his spina bifida birth defect. Spina bifida happens when the vertebra in the spinal column fail to fully close around the spinal cord during fetal development in the womb. I don’t think he loved his beer more than he loved his Lord and Savior. Everyone has his/her own way of dealing with the physical and emotional pains that we all have in life.
Jesus did not have to do what He did for us. He always could have said "No." to the cross.
I love listening to Hank sing about Jesus.. more than any song about a woman, a bottle or a honky tonk... I hear something so pure and meaningful in his voice.. let;s me know that's where his heart is.. Hank loved Jesus and it shows when he sang about him
@bluez1981 You're so right, he knew he did wrong, he just couldn't seem to brake the bottle from him or the pills. But you could tell when he sang about the good lord that he was a saved man and that his soul is in heaven.
Why would anyone want to refuse our Saviour? I am so glad that God had grace sufficient to save a wretch like me. I didn't deserve it but I humbly bow before you in awe and thankfulness. Jesus, you are so wonderful and I love you with all of my heart. Thank you.
i love jesus with all my heart, he died for us, without jesus in our lives we d be lost.
Praise the lord!

@baldy194859 All you have to do is say "I'm OK." and "I can make it just fine by myself."

@bluez1981 Couldn't have said it better myself. There's no way this man didn't know Jesus...Not with the songs he wrote and sang about.
