I do use a tripod when ever I can. This one was actually filmed from the outdoor deck of a restaurant in Harpers Ferry. Unfortunately I didn't take the tripod with me. Seems like I catch a lot of trains on the fly and don't have time to set up. Thanks for the comment.
No problem. I know my hand isn't as rock steady as it used to be. I have learned not to zoom much unless I'm not holding the camera. Hope you can start posting a few from WV. Lots of great places there.
Yes the station in Harpers Ferry is Amtrak. It has been restored to its original design about a year ago. You can see it at the 1 minute mark in the vid.

I'd like to. Jefferson Co. is Harper's Ferry and Shepherdstown...so I'll be doin my huntin there. I have a new camera so I'll be out there fannin.
