I did not care for the "Invasion" angle in 2001, but I really loved this feud. One of my favorite feuds of all time. This match to me was epic. Austin and Angle made you feel that they really hated each other. One of the only good things about the "Invasion", if you want to call it that. The other thing that was good about the "Invasion" was RVD. RVD was the most over guy in the Alliance. Now RVD is a shell of his former self. RVD should've never left the WWE for TNA.

one of my favorite matches as a kid. The Invasion angle was pretty cool, though it was mishandled. If they had managed to get the top 10 guys in WCW then it would have been legit. Goldberg, Sting, Flair, Nash, Hogan, Hall, Booker, DDP, Steiner and Luger. I'm not saying put all of them in the invasion match, just have them be the 10 invading guys from WCW to match ECW's top guys. Agree? Anybody?

@Gambit0531 lol agree.... the invasion angle was a good idea but the WCW side totally lacked the star power, I loved the NWO coming back in 2002, it was perfect to hold them back, but the WWF should of done all it can to bring in Sting, Goldberg, DDP, and Luger to headline the WCW invasion side to make them legit. They failed drastically with that.

PG Era vs Attitude Era would be a dream match between the Englishman vs the Texas Rattlesnake. Also he has the height advantage over Austin and even Wasteland him on the Stone Cold truck.

I swear to god, Steve Austin's 2001 bad guy run was done beautifully. First he joins Vince McMahon and its a bad guy turn. Then everyone thinks he is gonna stay with Vince until the alliance shows up. Then he goes right back to making Vince's life a living hell.

I would agree with what someone said below that Cena is very gd but I think these guys were more dimensional as characters and had more emotion that you could get into. I think Cena on the mic is great, and actually appears to be when speaking an adult chracter but his match results are sim to Hogans and his attire works for the younger audience. I think Cena shd have changed his attire to trunk again4Nexus and could become a great villain. TNA beta now anyway as deeprer rivaries n antiheroes!
