This looked so incredible when i saw it previewed on bitz in 1999, i got it a year or 2 later and it really wasnt so great, the first level was great but afterwards it just junked in the idea of puzzles and items and just went for plain ol' shootery.

I loved this game, played it so many times. The textures of the game were simple tga files and you could replace them very easily. Needless to say, I made a version of the game where all posters and signs were replaced with images of hot women.

Awesome game. What's weird is that in my copy, Thug looks different. He looks like the guy in the Loading screens (on the left, the one holding the shotgun, see 0:31), whereas yours is some tribal tattooed shirtless son of a bitch.

As for the game itself, I'm hoping we'll see a Kingpin 2 someday.

This game is amazing, is a work of art. Didn't get all the credit it deserved because of fucking censroship, and because the mothers of america blamed their bullshit PARENTING  and the Columbine massacre on violent video games, so almost nobody would sell this awesome fun game... the crew responsible for making this game are all great artist, the mood, the graphics and the backgrounds are all simply great. We could have had a lot more like this if it wasn't for how much bullshit it had to take

@GTAWarfare1 Yeah, the only people who are capable of making it is Treyarch, who used to be Gray Matter (which Xatrix later became). I think a Kingpin 2 should be open world, just like Borderlands and the upcoming Rage, instead of being linear like the first.

Something that really pisses me in the level "HARD" of this game is that you're almost out of luck getting level 1 done with this crappy pipe thing..I'm still working on it. "MEDIUM" is a piece of cake compared to that, really. Folks just die with a few blows, but in HARD it takes forever.
