Who replaced "shag" with "wag"? Was it the broadcaster back then? Simpler times when the word shag was deemed inappropriate for TV maybe...

christ, been years since I've heard this. the last time I heard this song I'd just put it on the jukebox at a wake. Probably not the best choice of tune for that occasion.
