he plays 4-x-4-4-0-0 and 2-x-2-2-0-0 in the chorus and he plays 4-x-x-4-0-4 & 2-x-x-2-0-2 in the intro picking bit but like in a low E, then high e, b,g pattern. abit confusing but once you've done it its easy. :)

the thing that makes him so great is that he is flexible in his styles of music. he can do the pop/rock music for the albums but then can slow it down and let the music express itself. and even the songs themselves are versatile.. he goes from im yours (reggae feel), to word play (kind of an acoustic rap), to beautiful mess (nylon classical acoustic waltz)
