i love both notebooks, i prefer the white one because the bottom of the macbook has a much better grippy bottom. but besides that, both of the machines are essentially the same. i sure do enjoy both of them and they are mostly equivalent. the aluminum one is gorgeous and it does pack a little more of a punch and it does have a fabulous keyboard, but i don't need the light because i already know how to type! haha. love macbooks.

well, i was thinking about buying a macbook pro because of the 4 gig ram, but the specs are like almost the same, and you save 200 dollars, i have a pc. i use it for editing with: dreamweaver, illustrator, photoshop, fireworks, sometimes flash and adobe premiere pro.

I dont know about back then, but right now you cant buy a MacBook with a SSD upgrade, whereas you can with the Pro. The SSD makes your MAc run so much faster its ridiculous. Of course you COULD upgrade your MacBook with an SSD yourself, but once you do that you lose your apple warranty.. so thats not worth it IMHO.

Well now that apple overworked the 15/17 inch versions only, I still think that the white MB is still the best choice when it comes to 13 inch models. I mean, I saved 250 euro by buying the white MB instead of the MBP both with the same config though.

Just got a new Macbook Pro 13" Leopard .. and man this is the BOMB! after owning Compaq Presario.. i just got addicted playing around with this... Awesome desktop,great iphoto and i movie apps.. Audio is awesome for movie and music! touch pad is easy to use and keyboard backlight is very outstanding..SD card slot is amazing! i couldn't ask for more...YAY
