  • i guess 36-2903 doesnt apply to cct candidates.

  • I am very happy to see the vidoe Combat Control Selection School after you give this

  • I Love The Video Combat Control Selection School It Can Increase My Knowledge

  • Steady I Really Like This Video Combat Control Selection School

  • Nice Video Combat Control Selection School That You Share , So Very Nice Thanks You

  • I Really Like The Video Combat Control Selection School From Your

  • Your Video Combat Control Selection School Is Very Useful Sharing

  • Recruiting videos never show the guys falling down from running, or getting smashed under the pole or having to be rescued during dive training or shivering from being so weak and tired.

  • Hooyah looks like fun!!! Cant wait!!!

  • My brother just finished his CCT selections. His group was filmed by Discovery for some show. Next stop, ATC school in ole miss. He said that there were days where his cadre told them that they were going to either do one more mile, or 10 more push-ups, or one more pull up more than the PJ's just to show them that CCT isn't for the weak. Doesn't make a lot of sense to me but, what the hell. Proud of these boys, get some!

  • i leave march 13th!

  • God, I want this so bad...So long Security Forces!

  • im almost done with college now and i was wondering if i could be a combat control officer. or do i have to be an sto? i want the most action

  • @lightlearner look into cro. You get shiped as a pj for a couple years in field thats where the action is at. i myself am getting shiped for basic dec 17 for cct and more than amped not to be an officer, But if thats the way you wanna go more power to you.

  • "My hearts the size of a frickin watermelon." That's some good shit.

  • what exactly is the role of a combat controller?

  • I am trying to choose between pursuing a career in AF PJ, CCT or NSW (SEAL)....... Can't decide!

  • this is deffinently what i want to do

  • CCTs can operate and run Air Control Tower TACP's can't....

  • Does anyone know how much water con is done in ccsc?

  • @gundown808 None, its not till you get to combat dive school when water con implemented.

  • slow is smooth smooth is fast is bullshit

  • @choadkin yeah im sure you would know better than these men right?

  • @CALMlikeAB0MB619 join a combat mos and deploy and youll discover it is bullshit

  • @choadkin what is your mos

  • @choadkin If you think that you are an idiot and don't know anything about tactical shooting.

  • @tommyvaughn09 define tactical shooting. ive done lrm and every rifle and machine gun range ive been to always has to have a fuckin stress shoot so define tactical shooting. slow is smooth smooth is fast is garrison bullshit.

  • @tommyvaughn09 if im such an idiot weirdo then what is tactical shootin. im not gonna fuckin google it. when i hear the term tactical shooting which is never ever by the way. i think of shootin while boundin and reflexive fire with target acquisition. just tell me its not shootin on your side or your back or some dumb shit like that.

  • @TheRickIRL All CCT airmen are combat dive qualified. Take that however you like.

  • just wanna throw this out there... this training that they show you on these videos is NOTHING compared to what it really is like. They aren't even allowed to show people how the real training is, it's confidental. Out of 56 trainees in my spec ops flight at basic there are only 4 left going through indoc right now. The rest didn't make it through.

  • @ImOnOne2 for CCT or Pararescue?

  • @ImOnOne2 that's what i've heard. so my buddy who has taken the PAST with me, we have the same date to ship to BMT. since we're both going for CCT would we definitely bein the same flight/ same class at CCSC?

  • Anyone in NYC or NJ want to start working out?

  • Heading to BMT Aug.23 as a CCT Trainee. Can't wait!

  • @wilsonjtech I'd HIGHLY recommend that you get onto Special Tactics dot com and go to the "documents/workouts" section and start doing the workouts. DO NOT do crossfit as it is not programmed. You better LEARN how to fin, ruck, and run.

  • TACP's training from start to finish is how long? And they don't deal with any ATC training, do they?

  • how does cct selection compare to pj selection

  • @beasley1987 CCT selection involves more running... only at first. You'll get your taste of the fun in the water. :)

  • THIS IS NOTHIN TO ARMY RANGER SCHOOL

  • @DankHydroBudz this is just incod, it takes 1 year to get the beret, 2 years to fully be done with training.

  • @DankHydroBudz Lol You're an idiot, Combat Controllers are definitely more highly trained than Rangers. Every Controller has to be certified Airborn, HALO, Scuba and Skilled ATC's. Not every Ranger goes through Scuba school or Military Freefall. The R.A.S.P for wanna be Rangers is only 8 weeks long. Pass and you make regiment. It takes C.C.T Trainee's two years before they join a Special tactics squadron. The total training attrition rate to make 75th. is 60%. C.C.T Training is 80%.

  • @cincykid17 i was in the 1/75th for 8 years during my time i was trained as a JTAC and was attatched to LRSD. rip and ranger school are just the start the real training begins when u get to your unit. i worked hand and hand with air force combat controllers inbedded SF units. compairing rangers to SF to combat controllers is like comparing bullets to beans they all got their own job to do. the bottom line is we all have sucked shit threw a straw fo this country even the pouges do their part

  • @cincykid17 id like to see you compare a cct to a ranger face to face with a ranger... good luck.

  • @radiokiller07 If you think their is no comparison you're a moron

  • @radiokiller07

CCT's are super highly trained spec ops air traffic controllers and JTAC's. Rangers are commandos who specialize in raids. Different kind of soldier.

  • @DankHydroBudz just cuz your daddy and uncle was a big tough ranger doesnt make rangers the best. all us special forces are just as respectable and remember all are on the same side. rangers arent even special forces theyre elite infantry. who do they call for covert high profile missions? recon marine, seal and green beret teams with combat controllers and pjs who rescue them. who do they call for grunt heavy assaults? rangers. they all have a purpose. theyre all patriots. respect them all.

  • im not the best swimmer so i would never make it past the PAST test

  • @militarybrat hahah yea this place blows

  • @a1ccarey dude how the fuck you been? Yea I can still run I run marathons now and shit. What base are you at now. In stuck in southern GA at moody afb find me on global I'm the only male leal here. I've always wondered WTF happen to you all.

  • @JLeal0789 You poor soul. Sorry you are stuck in title town too.

  • SEXIST!!!!

  • Can women be combat controllers?

  • @SuperScooter97 No, females are not allowed in Spec Ops...

  • Hope to join their ranks one day....

  • FIRST THERE!

  • Cant wait!! I hit the pre selection course on Apr 30, then it's off to CCSC! Hooya never quit!

  • is that a cave at 0:34 ?

  • @kevin4life616 you're gay and so is this vid...

  • he was rolling on his gatorade bottle! lol

  • i rememebr training for Security Forces n watching these guys train and thinking thats where i SHOULD be and thats where i WILL be.

  • how i cant applicate to combat controled

  • do you have to be ridiculously good at mental math for this?

  • its either this or tacp for me. who gets payed better? haha

  • @Venezu3la99 Your pay depends on your rank. Look at the Air Force pay charts on airforce.com.

  • tacp can go to combat diver school as well

  • @gtracer140

i totally understand you. the air force gets no credit. they aren't just the best minds in the military they are also just as capable soldiers as army and marines. i'm currently training for the PAST to become a cct.

  • @toro491 Best of luck to you on the PAST. I'm doing the same as well to become a PJ.

  • whats the difference between this and tacp?

  • @rd08242 TACPs are assigned to conventional Army units, where the CCTs are assigned to Special Operations forces. Both are jont terminal attack controller qualified. CCTs are also trained in water operations, so they are a little different.

  • @AirCommandos Thanks! Im thinking about going into the Air National Guard and inquiring about the TACP program with them. I saw tons of vids on youtube and it looks like some intense stuff. All the respect in the world for these little bastards!!

  • @AirCommandos

Also TASP call in air strikes for the Army units as the CCT's will set up the landing and drop zones and went in behind enemy lines. They do a lot with SEALS and Rangers

  • @AirCommandos

so TACPs would be attached to Rangers and the like? or do Rangers fall under special forces?

  • @corporateCoffee I don't know if he responded to your question or if you already know it. But Rangers are not special forces, I believe they help special forces.

  • @Exangel15

Yea I wouldnt call them special forces.. But they arent necessarily regular infantry... they are more special than other Army units. I'd call them light infantry.

  • @corporateCoffee Okay,I'm sorry bro. I thought you were talking about CCT. Forgot we were talking about Rangers

  • @Exangel15

lol gotcha. so anyhow, would CCTs be attached to Rangers? or would that be TACPs?

  • @corporateCoffee CCTs/STOs either get attached to JSOC/SOC depending on...certain criteria and those commands comprises of all US branches' SFs. Rangers can be attached to these commands as well...after all Green Berets are SF guys that have done Ranger training in addition to a plethora of other shit. It is likely a TACP would be attached to the Rangers vs CCT/STOs.

  • @JinBambino28

    nice.. thanks for the reply.

  • @AirCommandos THANKS!

  • @AirCommandos yeah and cct is special ops and tacp isnt considered that, but tacp sick too.

  • @abi999 TACP operates within Air Force Special Operations Command. They're special tactics. See the ASFOC special tactics list on their website.

  • @AirCommandos some TACPs can become "SOF qualified" in order to work with SOF units just like CCT... except, CCT are also air traffic controllers.

  • @AirCommandos whats the dropout rate?

  • @Rangerleadtheway44 Pretty high. When i was stationed at Lackland where they train, I would watch then start with about 200 go to about 15. So probably 80%-90%.

  • @Mohojo THem*

  • @rd08242 TACPs only deliver air strikes. These guys can deliver air strikes, but main job is to be an air traffic controller during battles; co-ordinating air strikes, re-supply drops and medevac, etc, all at once, concievably with the enemy shooting at you.

  • @rd08242 in short CCT is like TACP on steriods

  • @rd08242

cct are deployed with special ops after there two year training pipeline

TACP are deployed with conventional forces unless they volunteer to go through special forces assesment and selection or ranger school and if they complete those schools they deploy with a ranger or special forces team

however there initial training unlike the cct 2 year training is only 73 days so they have to go through more courses to be special ops but ccts go through all the training needed to be spec ops

  • Can officers become combat controllers

  • @MaryBeth321123 i dont see why not but during the training you wont be treated like an officer

  • @kevin4life616 I am sorry for the user's poor language. His comment has been deleted.

  • @AirCommandos What exactly happense if you dont make combat control??? I know in the navy if you dont make seals or whatever you are at the mercy to wherever the navy needs you but if you dont make cct do you get kicked out of airforce

  • @Rangerleadtheway44 you have to make it to the 5th day of selection to get a reclass if they want you still and i think you get to pick but its not deff you will get what u pick

  • what exactly do these guys do?

  • @Rangerleadtheway44

sit on their asses and play halo; they didn't get the name Chair Force for nothing...

  • @Snowmoto ?

  • @Snowmoto Did you not watch the video? You realize that CCT are always included in other miltary SF actions? They literally work side by side with Rangers, Green Berets, SEALs, Marines, and Army infantry.. Go kill yourself. They are elite tacticians

  • @TheTrentimus

I was kidding..but aside from the chair force is special tactics they don't do jack shit in the battlefield aside from support.

  • @Snowmoto

Do your research. I'm "regular" Air Force and have served 2 tours in Afghanistan and 2 tours in Iraq in 5 years. First tour in Afghan was QRF for 7 months, second was PRT for a year. If you don't know anything about those, look it up. Nothing on those deployments were "support". Also, have done gun truck patrols from Balad and Tikrit for 8 months apiece. None of these have anything to do with SUPPORT. Before you make dumbass remarks, DO YOUR RESEARCH. Give credit where credit is due.

  • @gtracer140

Lucky you got 7 months; Army tours are now a year down from 15 *shakes fist*

any who what was you're mos? Security Forces?

  • @Snowmoto yeah lucky. I'd rather do a year or 15 months and get two years off between. Instead I'm lucky to get 10 months before I'm back out. I'm a 88 Mike. Truck driver, basically.

  • @Rangerleadtheway44 they mostly do special op missions i am thinking about becomming a CCT

  • i take my past test on sept 3rd excited for it first time ill take it hopefully ill pass been working like crazy to get faster and stronger guess ill get to see if im ready... swimming is my only worry

  • Looks awesome but are you allowed to wear glass or do you have to get PRK eye surgery?

  • I would love to be a combat controller buttttttt swimming...im a good swimmer but not great, and these guys have to be great. I cant even hold my breath that long. Might go for TACP instead. Less swimming, but just as intense and well...kick ass.

  • @ronniepage

    TACP is not as intense.

  • @theUSAFsere I've met and trained with him too. Dude seems pretty insane, but he's pretty inspiring too.

  • I plan to join your great fun, very soon! :D

  • @Smitty1586

He earned his right to brag.

  • Id rather be Marine Force Recon any day

  • @Widow33maker Exept for the fact that there is no Force Recon anymore.

  • @Jowls16 really?!

  • @ronniepage yeah, the current force recon marines, and force recon's roles, were integrated into MARSOC at the start of this year. You can still join MARSOC, you just can't do it as a new marine anymore.

  • ive been training since october to go in to be a cct and im still not quiet were i wanna be but if you want to really get ready find your local swim team and workout with them if you are a good swimmer then your an all around better athlete but also do your regular dry land workouts too dont just skim by on bare minimums the motto i live by is "dont just complete, COMPETE!"

  • do you do airborne training for Combat Control?

  • @Fuzionrider Yes all SF Jobs like CCT have to something to do with Airborne so you will be jumping.

  • im accually thinking about joinin

  • I signed up for CCT and was in for a while then failed out. It is actually a lot tougher then they show in the video, in it is MSGT Human, and SSGT Pearcy, great combat controllers all heros. It does not matter your strength but your will and desire for it. The old Chief MSGT Ramos the former commander of CCT was tiny and scrawny when he first went in years ago and here he was as commander. Olympic class swimmers come in and fail the swimming test. Hooyah 42nd, and Hooyah Scoob!

  • @navajohunter What part of the course did you fail out of and why?

Im leaving July 27th for CCT.

  • @navajohunter That was Sergeant Seibel not Sergeant Pearcy MANNN.

  • I leave July 27th for this, I can't fucking wait!

  • any one know the type of masks they use while swimming?

  • @scottgotlockems the Aqualung Atlantis II is used during indoc, its a full face mask so be used to not breathing through your nose before you go, if your going. Good luck if ya are!

  • @ownage1894 Thank you, I appreciate the response. I'm still in DEP waiting for my BMT date. And thanks for the luck.

  • ahhhhh......push me!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

  • carey is that you fucker. its leal. this was my CCOC team!

  • @JLeal0789 Leal whatsup fucker. Leal can run betta than forrest gump. lol. how you been man? where are you now?

  • Comment removed

  • looks like cake compared to OCS

  • This was my selection team.

  • What is the job of Combat Control guys?

  • @Captus15 they go in the with SEALS and green berets, im not sure if they work with marine recon or not, but they jsut do what they do and are air traffic controllers at the same time. tehy use tehm for a lot depending on how muhc training uve been through

  • @Russe11john They do training with Marine recon as well. These guys are no joke! When I was stationed at Charleston AFB, SC, there was a CCT squadron there. They have some cool toys too.

  • @Kingbodybuild thats pretty awesome. i got booked for security forces im deffinetly gonna get into this hopefuly. the air traffic controlling part is deffinetly a plus. they have all the expierience any otehr spec ops have PLUS certified air traffic controllers u cant go wrong lol

  • @Russe11john The air traffic control part is where most wash-out. The air traffic controller AFC has the highest wash-out rate in the Air Force. CCT training is a whole year after Basic Training. We had 6 try out in my Basic Flight. Only 1 made it. He was an all-state swimmer in Nevada. That really helps if you can swim well. Good luck to you. CCT is awesome!

  • What are some of the Exercises we'll be doing during indoc? Im in the gym almost every day but I'll doubt we'll be doing bench presses and dumbbell curls ya know?!

I've taken the PAST 4 times now, passed every time. My scores for the last test, which was last week, were 11:12 swim, 9:47 run, 10 pull ups, 67 push ups and 71 sit ups

  • is there a 'hight" requirement? i'm 5 '7

  • Comment removed

  • i will

  • hey im really looking into combat controlling, and was wondering if one of u guys could give me some help and tell me more. i talk to me recruiter but i want to know from some one whose been there and done that. can anyone help me out?????

  • Hoo-yah! just finished selection and it feels good! ATC is next. I hope I have what it takes to get through!

  • Don't quit!

  • "My heart's the size of a frickin' watermelon". Fag.

  • @proudtoserve1 you have to have a heart that big to do what he does which is fight for YOUR freedom

  • I do fight for my freedom, in the same branch of the military that he does, and for much longer than he has. I know him so I was making a joke.

  • I have signed up for the Air Force in hopes of becoming a CCT as well but I haven't taken the physical or PAST. I saw earlier that one of u guys r leaving for basic on march 16 physical will be in the next two weeks and Past should b sometime in feb. So if everything goes smooth does anybody ere know if I'll b leaving in march? I hope so but the recruiter said I would leave in may at earliest

  • yeah I went to meps around october and i'm not leaving till march, I think it all depends on if they have a job slot open on how fast you leave, good luck

  • Can you tell me what PAST is? and what physical?

  • Physical Ability Stamina Test. 2- 20 meter underwater swims, 500m surface swim in less than 14:00 min, 1 1/2 mile run in less than 10:45, 6 pullups in a min, 45 situps in 2 min, 45 pushups in 2 min

  • Train almost all day everyday.

  • nah i took my PAST in july and im just now getting ready to ship feb 23rd. if your lucky then someone may drop out and open up an early slot but other wise its several months of waiting

  • all you weak dicks who are so scared you have to ask what other people think of your weak PAST scores need to join another career field. Nut up or shut the f*ck up. We want men full of piss and vinegar who are ready to deal death and destruction. We are in the profession of killing people and destroying things. The timid need not apply.

  • Hell ya. Tell it how it is.

  • i just went through selection. its not that hard. there is no water con, just a lot of finning. all you have to do is not quit. and if you havent gone to basic yet... you will get out of shape there. the pt is lame

  • could you tell me what a typical day is like at the selection course, and how much swimming with out fins is there.

  • @emilio083 Hi, im considering of doing cct but not sure yet. Are you sure the selection isnt that hard? im pretty atletic but still nervous about the difficulty. Can u give me any advice and specifics about the training there

  • Whatever it takes. I'm also focusing on the fact that basic should help my sit-ups/pushups/ and run. But i am working on it. What i have wanted since i stepped into the AF recruiting office. Failing isn't in my mentality.

  • @Greentea0130 basic will not help improve physically. maybe if you are a fatso going in to basic, you will improve over the weeks, but if you go into basic in good shape, you will probably lose a lot.

  • Just to Clarify, those were my PAST test times.

  • I leave March 15th to Basic then continue on to this. I've been training for a year 4-5 times a week in the gym. Swim: 5:36 Run : 10:01.

Pull-ups 17, Pushups: 56, and situps 67. Swimming is by far my strongest, strength is where i struggle, but i've pushed through alot to get me where i am now. If any one has any questions feel free to ask.

  • What are you testing swim or pull-ups for? They aren't tested in Basic or CCT school. I was CCT for 4 years. Best advice I can give you is, Never quit. It doesnt matter how fast you run, or how many pushups you can do, they will make you do more. And theres a big difference in running 10 minute mile and a half's in pt gear, and running 15 mile 75LB ruck sack runs, soaking wet. Bare in mind as well, 11:00 minutes is the maximum time for 1 1/2 miles in basic, you should work on that for CCT.

  • You sure its not march 16th thats when I leave for basic, or that is my first day of basic. I will be going to this as well after basic. Where are you from. The swim is definately my weakest area but it has improved a bunch, and i still have some time to work on it. I guess I'll see ya there

  • @Greentea0130 im not trying to like talk down on you man but those are average scores even for basic. your going to need to work your ass off to make it through cct indoc. good luck though

  • Comment removed

  • I'm going through the pipeline right now and we do have and indoc it's 2 weeks long that's where I am now. And we still do intense water training but not near as much as the pj's ours get really intense later in the pipeline. If you want to do spec ops cct is the way to go HOO-YAH! Never quit!

  • @nnoyes4116 no way. spec ops computers is the way to go. the future is in computers.

  • Does any one know my Buddy has a friend thats a PJ and he told my buddy that COmbat Controllers no longer have to do the intense water stuff anymore only PJ's are required now. Is this true? Please only respond if your really know. Going into the pipeline, are in the pipeline or is a a Combat Controller
