@dontmakemeMAD1990 While I haven't had an opportunity to get a close look at the Gepard, it has a more efficient muzzle brake, and is capable of slightly more accuracy than a Barret M99.

US is the biggest arms dealer after Russia I think, it is definately in the top 3. Most terrorist groups don't want to pay the high prices of the M16 etc when they can buy an AK for under $200 on the market.

i´m austrian and even though they ordered 800, steyr sold not even close to 100 of these to the iranian police. Beside this fact the weapons which were used killing soliders in iraq where duplicates never produced or sold by steyr. Since the patent run out on this gun a lot of other weapon lobbys started to produce it.
