Maynard J.Keenan and Trent Reznor are the only music producers who have fully captured the spirit of music for me, only true and pure emotions in their songs .... everyone should take a cue from these two awesome bands
@gigimontrucchio Actually There would be no NiN if the first Industrial band Skinny Puppy never existed. I suggest you check them out because they are absolutely amazing and they started the Industrial Revolution.
Evolution of nature. It is portrayed as somewhat beautiful. Everything has its place, where it belongs. Then comes the humans, starting with the monkeys. Thinking. Going away from where we belonged. Spreading like a cancer, destroying nature for resources, waging "unnaturar" war, (That is, with our minds and technology). and generally making the world a bad place to live. The "random" happy people "are" the vultures, which the video draws a parallell to.
I am impressed to realize that almost nobody mentions one fact about NIN´s live performances -and it´s not a minor issue-: The ABSOLUTE mastery and superiority of Trent to present the visuals in NIN´s concerts. Nobody, and i mean NOBODY, not even those huge pop bands touring the world come close to what NIN does. It´s not only the selection of images presented, but HOW they are presented, with the Trent and band mates "disappearing" and reappearing, as if swallowed by the images. Superior NIN.
@ExplosiveNutSack There both good but They both would not exist if Pink Floyd was never around or Skinny Puppy. Tool's Major influence is progressive rock and Pink Floyd were the engineers of that. Ask Maynard. Skinny Puppy was Trent's Influence to create Industrial Music. Skinny Puppy started the Industrial Revolution, They were one of the first and they have been around for a long ass time, not as long as floyd but long enough. check them out if your a music lover
Frustrating with all these fans that does'nt see the meaning in Trent's and co's art. The video, together with the music, makes perfect sense. Might be the best "music video" I've ever seen. The guy is not random^^
@iceguy0077 an amazing experience. I've been to a few concerts, but NIN is by far the most charged and vital concert I've ever experienced. He was such a powerhouse of energy. I am having a hard time believing that Wave Goodbye was really his last tour. If he ever gets back on the circuit, I will be buying floor tix as soon as they go on sale.
I don't too much like the audio in the culmination of the song - sounds a bit muffled compared to the studio version. I'm not sure if that's intentional or if it's hard to make the sound more clear cut.
Other than that, it's 11 out of 10. Beyond the power of God. Long live NIN.
This is one of the most intense live performances I have ever seen. It makes me want to break everything around me.

@gigimontrucchio those are the modern day incarnations of Greek gods. But don't leave out the older masters of music such as Pink Floyd.
