  • You people dont seem to understand, i am not against the citizens, i aknowledge people are not that poor in the US, i am against the system as a whole, the inequality, the ways of getting to the top, its all corrupt, the educational system is shit in the US, the country had such nice posibilities, but no, it hard to turn in to a capitalistic, materialistic shit country.

Greetings from Denmark, free education, free health care etc, you digged your own grave, deregulation on banks etc, have fun.

  • @HumanRevolution141 the upper 1% dug it for us. The whole "election" thing is bullshit. The Electoral College is just some makeshift coverup they use to elaborate how a candidate with 20 million votes just beat a candidate with 300 million votes. All a lie. And all corporations are just shills, just another whore at the capitalist gangbang. I agree with you, Capitalism needs to be killed, along with all who love it so dearly.

  • stop SOPA

  • Screw this censorship mess >:( I love this message; Brother Ali, well done

  • WOW

  • lol they censored god. americans.

  • @TheElevatr its weird that they only did in the god damn part. his first verse he says in the name of god and they dont censor it.. shits so stupid its like on tv certain shows will say ASS and beep out Hole!!

  • FUCK CENSORSHIP

  • THis is humorous... does Brother Ali really think the worse example of slavery occurred in America? Wow. Some of you people will believe anything. Brother Ali, I'm guessing the salt mines of Sardinia must be a vacation right?

  • @jorgekluney Ye its tru ppl are ignorant af but still. bro ali still dope af and u cant say the slavery in America wasnt bad either.

  • @final650 good point and completely agree.

  • @jorgekluney Where did he say that?

  • Funny to hear a Muslim complaining about violence in America. Looks like someone doesn't know the history of his religio-political view that started overthrowing people from their land in the mid 7th century.

  • @jorgekluney How many thumbs up were you expecting for that dumb comment, rich coming from a yankee...

  • @23asos From your ilk? I was expecting not a single thumbs up. And yes, I very much think you are a braying idiot who really doesn't have a clue what he's complaining about. Your view is myopic and silly. And, deep down, you know this is true.

  • the lyrics, the rithym.....all its fabolous...

Im not really rich , not even close to rich , kinda poor actually but i got quiet rich friends but they are good rich people who cares about me. But rich people still needs to care more about poor. Rap is not only for black people, its for everybody who is real to their words and has something to tell and got the talent. But we should really thank black people who started this wonderfull art :)

  • Made my day!!

  • I disliked this video because he rags on the United States the whole song. Like C'mon man.

  • @jpp704 Then put your blind fold back on and keep ignoring the truth

  • in the U.S.A 97 % of the people classified as poor own a color TV, three quarters of them own a car, three quarters of them have air conditioning, are u getting the picture I am not quoting these figures in order to deny that the poor people in the u.s. face difficulties. Nevertheless, for most , these difficulties are of different order than those those of the worlds poorest people 1.4 billion people living in extreme poverty are poor by an absolute standard tied to the most basic needs.

  • Granted..there are 1.4 billion people living in extreme poverty but your forgetting that America is the richest country in the world today a country where some people cannot afford basic medical care.

  • "Try to separate a man from his soul, you only strengthen his and lose your own"

    Amazing

  • I like how this guy does nothing but bitch about the past and try to instill fear of the government into our youth. All the while continuing to reap the benefits from the greatest democracy in history.

  • @JHatfield44 thing's ain't always as they seem

  • @JHatfield44 i like how your fag bitching on a yt video. did u invent the internet? NO well then your reaping benefits too so STFU and stop watching his videos you NON CONTRIBUTING ZERO

  • @biglove599 Yes, you got me. I reap the benefits of the man that invented internet. I don't sit here and bitch about it like this failure of a rapper that tries to play the role of an all-knowing government conspiracy genius. That was possibly the most inaccurate analogy I've seen in my life. Educate yourself kid. And just in case you were wondering, this link was sent to me from a friend of mine that arrived at the same conclusion I did. This guy's simply an out of era hippie. Thanks though.

  • mah USA OS THE BOMB but we have ourflaews\

  • Ali has it right. And when ignorant people think the U.S is perfect they are blinded by shit.

  • Hey Brother Ali, great song.. A friend and myself just recently started a Acoustic / Hip-hop experiment and the feedback has been pretty positive so far. If you could please take a minute or two to view what we worked hard on and leave insight, positive or negative it doesn't matter. The link is below and thank you so much in advance for even giving us a chance. The appreciation meter is super high.

  • pardon my french

  • cocksuckers waiting for the drip

  • Brother Ali is every race and his music is amazing

  • Damn, this is on-point, son!

  • dumbasses brother ali is albino his parents are both black

  • @b0ngRip1 yes he is albino but his parents are indeed white, he converted to Islam that's why his name is brother ali, but any way why it matter. ENJOY THE FUCKIN MUSICK PEOPLE AND STOP CARING ABOUT WHAT RACE PEOPLE ARE. ASSHOLES.

  • @dustin741 Actually I think the religion and race is very important. It proves that we all feel the same way regardless of religion, race, etc.

  • @dust

    you said it !!

  • @dustin741 Thank you. that's one of the messages in this song and anyone who likes the music should actually look into it's message. i was at a party the other day and TOOL (one of my favorite bands) was being discussed. one guy said "You know he's bi right?" I looked and said what's that have to do with his music? is he making you uncomfortable without ever having met you? sex, race, religion, nationality, and orientation all need to be ignored. it's 20 fuckin 12 will they ever learn?

  • Just enjoy the music Players

  • I love this song It is the shit the lyrics is smooth and nice , that is hard core !

  • australia is the worst cause we have nothing to fight against .......yet

  • Like ours?

  • Don't mean to start a flame war, but a lot of governments would just kill you for trying to push something as inciteful as this... I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'.

  • man it's not really the same emotionally because it's censored.

  • i dont see why people care what color you are if you rap. rap is poetry thrown on a beat. thats like telling a black guy to leave video game programming to an asian kid. self expression and art is open to ANYONE. people need to see past the surface. were not white black yellow brown or red skind. were HUMAN. evolved from the same single celled organism with the same body functions and brain.

  • 8 people are snakes !!!!

  • Nice tune

  • I've listen to this 4 times now,, sweet goddamn beat. Well of course lyrics wise too...

  • the guy id cool

  • TRUTH IS HERE

  • Totalitarianism...in the states? let me tell you about britain...CCTV nation, under constant observation.

Funny bit is this, CCTV doesnt fucking prevent crime, it moves it. All it does.

Now am asking my self, why the fuck would you need CCTV when most of the time you can't make out the fucking faces nor does the police respond if a citizen is in trouble.

UK is funny, 5 lads causing trouble outside a kebabshop, i see 1 van, full of pig, they wait for 1 more....

hahahaha police is a failed joke.

  • Keep saying we're free

But we're all just blue.....What is this abbout...blue color???noble blood or what?

  • @kokainhigh The Line is 'But we're all just loose'. So what I guess there saying is that there so called 'Freedom' is smoke and mirrors. In a sense the word 'freedom' has come to mean many things over the years to different people. When certain politicians use the word it can often lose it's impact. Who knows perhaps there really is a totalitarian world being pulled over our eyes.

  • With a video like this, his color is the LAST thing y'all should be talking about....

  • Great song. Is he a muslim? America its time we have a revoultion and overthrow the cocksucking politcans and bankers! We need to get out of all lands thats not ours. And the regular American doesnt see why we are hated. I still love America just not assholes who run it

  • Who cares about what color his skin is, this video is about showcasing the words he put on paper and speaks from his mouth. Black, white, yellow, purple, green... they are legit.

  • Who cares about what color his skin is, this video is about showcasing the words he put on paper and speaks from his mouth. Black, white, yellow, purple, green... they are legit.

  • the uncensored version is much better ! check it out!

  • I love the Nina Simone reference where he says 'This is a show tune, but the show has not been written yet'.

Should have been a nigger singing? HELL NO!

  • @EnterNameLoL a "nigger" should fuck your mother...dumb kuffar. go listen to metallica...

  • He may be an ugly fuck, but it's great music :)

  • Good GOD, all you people talk about is his ethnicity in every comment section on here. Find a new topic you turds.

  • first when i heard this song i thought he was a nigga!

  • @thebest000000 He is he's an albino brother

  • @LxNightriderxL haha really? Good 'Good!

  • @LxNightriderxL No actually he is a white. I read it in a interview he did. But doesn't matter anyway because he is a dope rapper regardless of his colour.

  • @wakawaka12328 I know he's white and he considers himself black though as they are the people who accepted him as the white people rejected him so he feels black :P I do know about him :)

  • @LxNightriderxL Yeah..... he was teased and everything by the white kids at his school for being different. A bit sad but it made him the man he is today, it got him into hip hop.

  • @LxNightriderxL Ali's not "white." He's an albino. My cousin is albino and, as "white" as he looks, he's still ethnically a black dude.

  • @SeauxG00d No he is White he's not Black.. He was born into a white family

  • @SeauxG00d whats the matter with you guys , does it really matter what colour he is , all that matters is he can bring it , and just for the record both his parents are white so im pretty sure he is too

  • F**k an edit ....i feel like walmart

  • Great song, but i can't help but disagree with it's message. My first disagreement is that, while America undoubtedly has had it's share of injustices, he seems to hold it above far worse examples in Europe, Asia and the Middle East - for example Mauritania where slavery was legal until 1974, the song also refuses to acknowledge America's contribution to the world - it's foundation was the first time in human history a society has thrown off it's shackles and become free.

  • @ulsterman11 He's American, not Mauritanian, if he lived in those countries, then he can criticize them. Constructively criticize yourself and yours first and foremost, because thru self-analysis we can improve ourselves, Brother Ali is trying to get american's to achknowledge the atrocities they allow their gov. to get away with, cos until they do, they won't even be able to BEGIN fixing things. Try to understand that people in most of the world view USA as a bully, not a saviour!

  • I'm not kidding when I say that Brother Ali and Slug.. are two of the sickest rhymesayers to ever grace this planet.

  • The wird thing is how can a racist dude even listen to Brother Ali..? Please go and listen to something filled with hate..its suites yall more.

I hope yall see the light one day..cause your living in darkness.

    hate.

  • Incredible.

  • respect the real fuck the fake this is real shit atmosphere real eminem real most new shit is fake

  • The opening words from his mouth is propaganda. same as any artist speaking out their mind and they can be disagreed. I myself disagree with this Vid. If he wants to prove that what he is saying is true and right, then he should also see what muslims do to other none-muslim. I listened to he's other music but I disagree with this. I have been around a city where muslims killed alot of neighbors close to where i live for their religious reason. Muslims are victim of Islam.

  • @MrCoolBane

stupidest words ive ever read.. look further..read and know your history instead of caliing millions and millions of muslims victims.

I feel sorry for ya...your hate hasnt find the right place..it all comes from inside.

  • @MrCoolBane personally i think you totally missed the point of this song. Of course the Muslim world has many problems, in SOME cases worse than things happening in the states... thats NOT the point. This song is about the USA... not some muslim country, so why even bring it up? Definition of propaganda: 1.Information, esp. of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view. I dont see anything misleading here, just historical facts..

  • @MrCoolBane I didn't see him talking about muslims or Islam in this song, so why is it relevant again? Yeah yeah, whatever gives you a better conscioiusness about the fact that the US invaded Iraq out of PURE GREED, Afghanistan for revenge. Looks like Iran and North-Korea are the next on the list so the world dominance plan is finished. Why do you make it a religious issue when this song CLEARLY is about racism, injustice, poverty and unfair and cruel politic. But I'm out of here. Peace

  • My initial post was to point out that this song uses the negatives and ignores the positives of the US. That brainless youtube users comment 'dis is da truth' and such. Therefore my response is that, whilst I like the song, its content is biased [IMO because US bashing is cool and sells CDs] and a similar song could be written about any country. Which is true, so I'm not 'talking shite,' and dont need to 'read more' And yes, those countries do have their own versions of 'American Dream'

  • @reiko082 its up to you to determine what you percieve as negative or positive. to me this is positive because it shows the US mistakes so maybe they wont happen again. and it shows a glimpse of our "leaders" agenda to return to feudalism which is positive to me because it's a warning of what may happen if we continue on this road. So i see this as Positive.

  • This be fuckin legit.

  • I hate the fact that people think someone is an idiot because you KNOWWWWW for a fact that america is corrupt beyond belief. The real idiots are the ignorants tooo scared to admit their is a problem with the country they supposidly love so much. If you love it so much dont be so fucking afraid to man up and and acknowledge there is a problem.

  • i usually dislike rap music... but this is something different. respect!

  • I'll look forward to the song he writes about the Middle East, home of Islam. Where it's OK to be a paedophile, as long as your married to your 12 year old. Where its OK to have 4 wives, but stone a woman to death if she does wrong. Where oil money is spent on the rich, and the tallest scrapers in the world and the poor are kept poor. Where Indians are used as house slaves. Where its OK to celebrate the death of Westerners and where other religions are often banned. Welcome to the Middle East.

  • @reiko082 these are isolated cases or bullshit made up by the media 4 people lik u ta pick up ta cause fear and hatred make u a controled cause they control ur fear an hatred the some most powerful emotions stop hatein ta people who actually done nothin against ya hate ya government that is fuckin u over an ur people

  • @bourney1991 They're not isolated cases and I do not fear or hate anybody, i'm pointing out that no country is perfect and everywhere has its negatives. I've travelled to 48 countries and I can tell you there's a whole lot worse than the USA. I'll base my assumptions on thinking critically about my International Relations lectures, NOT just blindly believe what some rapper says to sell albums or some illiterate kid on Youtube telling me "ta hate ya government." Grow up, 1991.

  • @reiko082 Ok, you've had a few lectures and well travelled i respect that BUT he is merely pointing out that 'The land of the free' isnt so free.Do you here about the Iranian dream? or the Afghan dream? Pakistan dream?I'm sure George Bush has travelled to many countries but it doesnt mean he's educated.Does it? You also mentioned below about slavery being 'invented' by Africains? WTF? Maybe you should get a new teacher,he/she needs educating. My advice to you is READ more before you talk shite!

  • @reiko082 honestly are you saying americas not like this? if you are you must be well pretty blind. of course theres worse off places in the world going through worse phases. we still have a chance too help the worse off..this motherfucker is just letting you know how it is.. i dont know how you can say that he is telling you to hate on your government.. if they were our government the world wouldnt be like it is.. its a fucking institute of law makers who jeopardizethe only freedom we have left

  • @reiko082 Its too bad that their aren't countries as great as America but one of the things that make America is the freedom of speech. Brother Ali is practicing this freedom. Don't hate because he's practicing this right. Also if you haven't noticed, the US is a pretty bad place.

  • @PeetarTheGuitar Nowhere have I "hated on" anyone for freedom of speech. I made a critical judgement of his song, which as you have pointed out, I'm entitled to. Nor is the US a "pretty bad place," it may benefit you to look beyond your own garden before posting such nonsense.

  • @reiko082 Okay 1. Calm the fuck down. 2. Why are you making "critical judgements" in the youtube comment sect if you don't expect to get shit from people. And 3. Some people don't have gardens fucktard. I live in a fucking foster home with 20 other kids so shut your preppy ass up and go to bed.

  • @PeetarTheGuitar 1, i'm not angry, no need for calm. 2, you're the one replying nonsense to my opinions whilst at the same time promoting freedom of speech/opinions. 3, There are no "preps" in England, it's some label that idiots like you have made up. 4. "looking beyond the garden" was metaphorical for look beyond your own country and you will realise you have nothing to complain about...

  • @reiko082 Wait, if you're from England what the fuck gives you the right to comment on the status of the US? Damnit man focus on something in your own damn country

  • @PeetarTheGuitar To answer your question, freedom of speech gives me the right to comment on a Youtube video. You should know this however, you even said it yourself a few incoherent comments back. That, and living in the US for a short period previously. It is perhaps this laughably closed-minded "focus on something in your own damn country" attitude that is the reason for your embarrassing, incoherent replies to my Youtube comments on the subject of this song.

  • @reiko082 That wasn't a real come back comment. Jesus. You just said what I said was absurd. You didn't give proof. You just said that it was embarrassing for some reason. Im not embarrassed. So it was, in fact, not embarrassing. Also you have no right to comment on the condition of my country if you don't live here.

  • @PeetarTheGuitar You brainlessly blarbed some lie about me hating freedom of speech, then proceed, without a hint of irony, to tell me I have no right to freedom of speech. Tell me I'm a prep, when I know nothing about preps. Tell me America is a ' pretty bad place' when you've clearly never seen a pretty bad place. Fail to understand a simple metaphor by giving my some orphan sob story. It's all quite embarrassing really, and wildly missing the points I originally made about the video content.

  • @reiko082 You didn't even refute a thing. You're not winning our little argument, you're just recapping what was said with some adjectives and words like "irony" and "metaphor" Okay you obviously don't know what irony is because I see no irony in anything. What is this 8th grade Language Arts class? You're going nowhere in this argument like you're stuck in quicksand. Thats a simile thank you very much. Also you still wont take the fact that you don't know the terrors inside the US.

  • @PeetarTheGuitar And again, a mumble jumble collection of personal attacks as opposed to replying to my original points. I'm not interested in your desire for an internet argument. "Terrors inside the US"? Don't make me laugh. The average American's largest problems in life don't even equate to the smallest of problems for some people around the world. If you don't like the US, go right ahead and move over to a Taliban-ruled Afghanistan. Then you may be qualified to tell us about terrors.

  • @reiko082 For the 5th time you have no clue what lies in the US. Its great that you used to live here for a brief period of time, you stilll dont know anything about what lies here. Why don't you take a little trip out of your perfect little country and visit places like Detroit or Cleveland. Those places are in crippling depression. The rate of poverty is higher than poverty in all of India. Unemployment is so high 1 out of every 4 people is unemployed. So stop saying shit you know nothin about

  • @PeetarTheGuitar "The rate of poverty is higher than poverty in all of India." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA holy fucking shit, I pity you and your utter stupidity. I hope you remember this conversation when you've grown up and are a little wiser. I've visited Detroit and was in India for 3 months last year - and if you're of the belief that ANYWHERE in the US has poverty even remotely comparable to India then, with that kind of logic, there's really nothing left for me to say. Good luck with your struggles.

  • @PeetarTheGuitar How is the US a "pretty bad place"? "The rate of poverty is higher than poverty in all of India"? With those two comments I have come to the conclusion that you sir, are an idiot. I was born in Eastern Europe and have since lived all over the world inclusive of the UK and know for a fact places like Moss Side in Manchester are even worse than your below mentioned Detroit or Cleveland. Moss side is 10x worse than Detroit and Cleveland. Get your facts straight. Jackass.

  • @pimpninja1985 how nice it is that you have the luxury of traveling the world.......you set yourself apart from many people by simply having this opportunity. what makes people angry with the current conditions in the U.S is the ILLUSION(s) of freedom, liberty and wealth.....the U.S is worse than other places not by standards of poverty but CORPORATISM and the lies that the apathetic people accept, and pay into so that the few elite have the ability to wage wars on our brothers/sisters overseas

  • @skeeter87ism I agree. It is sad that in one country the biggest and most powerful businesses have the ability to so easily manipulate and challenge the governments political powers, giving the elite the ability to, in theory, do whatever they choose to regardless of the law. Unfortunately, this is everywhere and have witnessed this growing up in Communist Eastern Europe. It does make one sad.

  • A lot of the "whole lot worse than the USA" countries have US military bases, economic and political influence from the US,both covert and overt. That's why the comparison doesn't work- many of the 'repressive countries' get tacit nods from those like Cheney who find it convenient to fly those who oppose the Empire, excuse me, terrorists to be tortured away from here. MAny of these countries do Uncle Sams dirty work. SO they are not worse than the US, they are in some ways part of the problem!

  • @LanaMuckraker Are you honestly attempting to place the blame of backward regimes such as that of Iran, Syria or Somalia on the fact that the US may have military presence there (which it doesn't)? And equating an "opponent" and a "terrorist" as the same thing? There aren't nearly enough characters to address this stupidity. The US has been the global hegemony of recent times. Coincidentally, the world is factually more peaceful than ever in history. But that's not good enough for you and Ali.

  • Respond to this video... My comment was to reiko082

  • Slavery? Was invented in Africa, by Africans long before the white man. Country 'stolen' from Native Americans? Not really, it wasn't even a country and the 17th Century was dog-eat-dog, empire-versus-empire (read realism int. relations theory), its all too easy to sit in your liberal (invented post WW2) armchairs and bash America. No true thought in these lyrics, its all been said before to sell CD's to stupid liberal, impressionable kids. For true lyrics, you'd have to delve beyond pop music.

  • @reiko082 Invented by Africains? ....Maybe you should research some of the following? The Sumerian Code of Ur-Nammu written circa 2100 BCE - 2050 BCE..or the Hittite texts from Anatolia?Who also include laws of regulating the institution of slavery? What about the Greeks?Aristotle declared all non-Greeks slaves by birth, fit for nothing but obedience!!

And. of course don't forget the Roman Empire :) Good day sir......

  • @budburd Right you are, 'invented' was the wrong word to use but my point, in response to this song, was that America/Europe didnt create 'the worlds most despicable slavery trade' and that it already existed between Africans. In addition, various types of slavery still exist today in almost every country [particularly including the ones in the region which he bases his beliefs] so I look forward to an anti-Middle Eastern slavery song. Oh wait but that's not considered cool and doesn't sell CDs.

  • Adds on uncle sam goddamn...are you fucking serious?

  • im from australia, if you love your hip hop , check out bliss n eso, illy, 360, pez, m-phasez , phrase, drapht , these boys have no hoes no bling and spit to be heard , just like brother ali, slug, murs, sage francis, grouch ect ect.... the list goes on of great hip hop , why is it such a common thing that people dont . recognise good lyrics dope beats and good flow ??

  • i *** clean versions!

  • Where is the mention of the thousands of brave American men who died on the beaches of Omaha in WW2? Where does it mention that America donates more money than any other nation to the developing world? Where is the mention of democracy that allows this song? Where is the mention of great American inventions; aircraft, medical science, the computers & internet you are using...). Its all too easy to pick out the negatives and ignore the positives. That said, I like the song. Your British cousin =)

  • @reiko082 The positive aspects don't balance the negative aspects of the british-american empire (actually Britons just follow, but anyway)

  • @pounderakotamolo Well thanks for your opinion, I'll stick to facts that suggest AMerica has done far more good than bad. There isn't even such a thing as a British American empire. Now he's good at what he does, song sounds great, but 'Da music' is certainly not 'the hard fact' - just a reproduction and repackaging of rebellious lyrics that've been produced to sell rock music for years.

  • @reiko082 well we hear all about all that in the media. What we dont hear is how messed up it really is.

  • Da Music is the hard fact. Extremely awesome song! Thank you Brother Ali.

    Finally Real Rap

  • why is USA land of the thief?

  • @realjamable well for one the whole country was stolen from the native americans lol

  • Yo brother ali i love this shit come out some more just like yo ill bye that shit 4 sure!!

  • this sound is great good shit keep em comin brother hell yaa!!

  • This is tough man....real music for real ears...you gotta love it....underground artists like MURS, CYNE, BLU, BRO ALI, ESOTERIC, TOP SCHOLARS, Jay Electronica, Big KRIT ALL NEED TO BE LISTENED TO BY THE MASSES!!!Please pay them their respect!

  • @HighandMighty609 You know what happens when the masses start listening to the underground artists right? All of a sudden the "hardcore fans" jump ship because the artist is no longer underground, they're now mainstream, apparently.... moral of the story; listen to what you like, not what you think you should or what you're told to.

  • Only one word can describe the feeling of listening to this track for the first time -> wow!

  • lol viewer 69,069

  • love this song

  • for those who dont know, this references nina simone's mississippi goddamn. both dope songs

  • brilliant song, great words, well written
