ok so i got it sorted but the LEDs I used were crappy the light is too directional and pointed so that it doesn't light up anything that isn't directly in front of it. the light needs to spread alot more to light up the top ring properly. I don't know where to find proper LEDs so I guess it's a bust. BTW I wired the LED triangle board directly to the battery source so it stays on and the sounds only come when you press in the center.

what voltage LEDs to use? a guy told me today that it would take 3 AAA batteries in series to light white LEDs. And is there a mod u can do to make the lights stay on permanently if you want? they turn off too fast. I've got one stripped open in front me right now :(

@nasscott lol just get some BRIGHT leds, i think they are like 8 watt or some shit, but uh, naw they run off 2 triple a's and if you wanted the light to stay on youd have to bipass the sound board and the timing thingy and just run it straight from the batteries, then you would need to craft a switchinstead of a button maybe
