  • LOL 2:20

  • noel is like wtf 75k is like 20 mins of this show to me lmao

  • @LiveAndLetMetal Actually, it's not entirely based on luck. The decision she made to swap was the best decision she could've made. There's 22 boxes in the game. The box she originally picked, number 12, had a 1/22 chance of being the 75,000, the box she swapped for, number 12, had a 21/22 chance of being the 75,000.

  • @Krfcflanker wtf are you on about?

  • Shh... The wanker is calling.

  • lol pause at 2:23 and look at the guys face

  • whay wasnt she offered any money?

  • didn't she lose 75k pounds? why are they cheering then?

  • @keeshorror nvm

  • why are the other players cheering they ain't getting fuck all if i was there i really wouldn't give a fuck what they won till it was my go

  • mouthy fat cunt

  • @Goonboy7777 Agree.

  • They take this shit seriously LOL

  • Monty Hall problem.

    You should always swap.

  • @samisealo Incorrect. Because no one has any knowledge of what is in the boxes, it's a simple 50-50. Google it.

  • @LyokoIsCool

Allow me to explain my reasoning =).

Perhaps not quite monty hall however:

When you start, you have a 1/22 chance of picking the box with the £250000 in it.

Therefore there is a 21/22 chance that the box you have on your desk is NOT the £2500000.

Therefore, if the £250000 is still on the board at the end, and you are offered the swap, I think this means that you have a 21/22 chance of getting the £250000 if you swap.

  • @samisealo

However, I find problem in my own reasoning, as you could also say you only have a 1/22 chance of picking the £10 and then the probabilities are reversed...

So I suppose seeing as there are two left...

That would mean it's a 50/50 chance which set of probabilities you'll end up with.

Ok so I will agree with you. But not that it's 50-50, £250000 or £10, 50-50 whether it will be 21/22 £250000 or 21/22 £10...

If you see what I mean =).

  • @samisealo The fact that they're opened at random and not with knowledge as to where the big money is the trouble with your hypothesis. Monty Hall knows where the big money lies in the namesake problem.

I made that error myself. Look on Wikipedia, and you'll see the probability tree and why Monty Hall isn't the answer here. Or just watch episodes and see how many times swapping would've been optimal.

  • @yabbaguy

    Ah yes ^^. Of course.

So I suppose, my previous reasoning works, because it's 50/50 which way the 1/22 will go, because you don't know what's in the boxes =p?

  • @samisealo NO IT WOULDNT HAVE BEEN OPTIMAL, ITS A 50-50, you should have learnt this in nusery!

  • @yabbaguy what are you driverling on about!

  • @rainxxxx Like said, look up Monty Hall problem on Wikipedia. That's what.

  • @yabbaguy if its to do with a theroy of over coming a 50 50 then im not gona waste my time, instead i think i will point and laff at you!

  • @rainxxxx You misread. My original remark:

"...Look on Wikipedia, and you'll see the probability tree and why Monty Hall ***>>>ISN'T<<<*** the answer here. Or just watch episodes and see how many times swapping would've been optimal."

Monty Hall is a problem where the host KNOWS where the money is and opens a dud after the contestant chooses one of 3 doors/boxes/etc. Then the contestant is favored when he swaps. Here, the boxes are opened blindly, so swap/no swap are equally valid.

  • @yabbaguy true all boxes are opened blindly, the host does not know where the money is though, only the independnt judicator

  • @rainxxxx

    @yabbaguy

This is exactly what me and yabbaguy are saying.

Learn some manners and some grammar before you come storming in here telling us how to do maths.

If you're not aware of the situations (such as Monty Hall) we are referencing then it's best just to stay out of it..

And I don't about about me but it sounds like you went to a VERY good Nursey.

  • @samisealo lol learn good grammar? have you seen your last line in your post? feel stupid you ought to sunshine, i dont care about monty hall either, never heard of the unpopular cunt, a bit like you really!

  • @rainxxxx

My last line made perfect sense. I will explain it to you however seeing as your basic knowledge knowledge of the English language appears to be lacking.

Basically what it means is that I am not sure would you would class as a good nursery, I thought mine was good enough but obviously yours must have been better if they taught you even basic probabilities and reasoning behind the Monty Hall problem (Y).

Perhaps I should've said "And I don't know about mine...". Sorry intelligent sir.

  • @samisealo you made a grammical error in your last post when you were pulling me on mine (not that there was anything wrong with my grammar) which made you look like a donkey, i think you dont have much to say yet you say too much of it, and it sounds to me your still in nursery!

  • @rainxxxx

Ok if you want to point out my one grammatical error allow me to highlight all of yours:

"what are you driverling on about!"

"instead i think i will point and laff at you!"

    "unless you have knowlage"

    Just to name a few...

Not to mention numerous capitalisation errors.

All I was doing was having a conversation with Yabbaguy about the maths behind it. Like I said, if you are unaware of the things we are referencing then there is no need for you to get involved. Especially with insults.

  • @samisealo for a start son, i dont give 2 hoots about punctuation on you tube, but since you tried pulling me on mine i thought i would pull you on yours,

"And I don't about about me but it sounds like" thats what you put

    your not in uni now!

  • @LyokoIsCool exactly, but there are too many thick cunts and superstitious puffs to realize this, unless you have knowlage then its 50-50!

  • just before he opens the box he goes ''uhh julie have i?'' in a proper pervy voice lool

  • to all people who say that you should with your box.

  • Lucky her.

  • The power and the hold money has on every human being is phenomenal. We go to war for it, we steal for it, we gamble for it, we cry for it, we murder for it, we conspire for it, we love for it, we hate for it, we lie for it, we work for it, we have sex for it, we believe for it, we hurt for it, we put our faith in it.we need for it.

  • nuttta

  • goddam i really wanted to see that fat slag lose

  • 2:21 What is that bloke doing?? Throwing A Wobbler

  • He didn't offer anything? That defeats the entire purpose of the game, fucking retards.

  • Bet she's gone double the size with that Money by now!

  • 2:23 hahahahaha wtf

  • 1:09

  • the banker was like : oh shit ! ! ! the fat bitch won :( =))

  • Comment removed

  • @NinjaStarfish94 what money there was no offer, i want to know what the fat cow said earlier on to make the banker make her go all the way!

  • Brilliant television

  • this dond has way much more drama

  • The little greyed haired old lady you see at around the 250 mark, try and find the footage of her playing, she was brilliant.

  • Is it me or does this game seem planed because their is no offer and then she swap the box just look planed

  • she is a one fat ass

  • @greenxboxmonkey Who gives a fuck?

  • Swapping would be the obvious choice. Anyone who has seen the movie "21" would know that.

  • @ENFowler93 only obvious if you were oblivious to the fact that there was no luck involved, or if you wouldnt wanna kill yourself knowing that you were taking the red away from the table and replacing it with a blue

  • the guy cried

  • I saw that happen before with 1p and £75,000. He was offered the swap and no money, he opened the box and he only won 1p! He won additional £15,000 after that in the veiwers competition.

Did anyone else see that ??

  • @Scrabbler27 Yep, that was weird itself!

  • thats fucked up.

  • That isn't fair. Has this ever happened before on the show with a low blue and a high red in play?

  • Theres been 1p and 250000 in play before!

  • Really? What happened that game? Did they win the 250,000?

  • Well. Ive seen it twice.

The first was just a few nights ago. I recorded it on my phone. 1p.

The other one was a few months ago. 250000.

  • @SirPenguin75 yeh. name was alice

  • @SirPenguin75 loads of times :S

  • 1:15

  • this money will feed her for a week...

  • lol 1:10

  • Dumb banker XD

  • OMG the fella's face at 2:25!!! lol

  • that is unfair of the banker

  • Comment removed

  • £0 - deal or no deal? What a total wanker of a banker.

  • @SASBSPARA Go away you strange weirdo. All you are is a sad loser who insults people

  • That's awful comments...just coz she "had no choice" doesn't mean she didn't deserve the win...at the time there was a VERY long run of blue amounts coming to the table...so she really had no choice to swap her box away, bearing in mind she could very easily have brought a red to the table for the first time in weeks!

  • dat wos gutts

  • WTF???? LOL

  • Julies got a nice looking face, she's cute. Gorgeous eyes.

  • lipo - grand a stone?

  • shes gonna buy alot of chicken drumsticks with that

  • bohemoth

  • Our banker in the U.S. typically doesn't bait contestants, nor do those contestants go for it. Then, however, when the one opportunity to shoot at it with a 341K vs. 25 / 1M board occurred, our contestant blew it.

Only two people have taken a shot at a "Power Seven" without a net, and both didn't win.

It took 243 games to get our jackpot winner.

  • Gosh you were fast with this, great game!

  • See, banker? Stop baiting people when there's no net. As if Laura Pearce didn't teach you that.

  • Nine times out of ten, it works though, and we see crash after crash after crash. But then you get people like Betty and Julie.

  • However, crashing like Trevor loses 9,899.99 while baiting Laura lost 215,000.

The odds are HEAVILY against the banker when he puts such low offers up - the lower the offer, the more he can lose by forcing someone to win 250K, and the less he can gain by forcing someone to win 1p.

  • If the banker had just offered what he was supposed to, 126,500, he could cause the contestant to lose 123,500 by taking out the 3K, or cause the contestant to win 123,500 by taking out the 250K.

    For Laura, however, he laid odds of 205,000 / 42,000 = 4.88 / 1 = 3.88:1 against himself by offering 45,000 quid.

  • Brilliant win! Long overdue too!
