Why does the Earth look so small when its 4 times bigger than the moon.If its the same distance, shouldn't it look 4 times bigger than the moon looks to us here?
no, that's like saying "shouldn't the sun take up the whole sky?" i'm just yanking your chain but it probably does look bigger in reality (if you were actually on the moon looking at earth instead of at a tiny screen)
Can someone tell me why this advanced imaging device flew over the landing sites of several of the Apollo Missions and couldn't get pictures of the so called equipment that was left behind? In the show "Direct from the Moon" they talked about the fly over and the great shots it got but didn't show these areas instead cut away to old Nasa clips & astronauts talking about the landings. I would really like to see some of the equipment &/or even better the USA flag that was planted.
It's called camera resolution, and you could answer this question yourself by going to the official Kaguya website and looking it up the camera specs, or even wikipedia. I wish people would make their own discoveries instead of hanging around on youtube and letting conspiracy theorists piss in their ears.
@krisdevalle camera resolution has nothing to do with the earth being shrunk to the size of a dime. The moon and the earth are in the same picture, therefore the earth the should look quite big regardless of resolution. The laws of physics do not change because of camera resolution.
don't know what to think of this (the GOA soundtrack is wicked though) i want to believe that it is real but there is one thing that bothers me!! the shadows from the various hills on the surface sugests that sunlight is coming from the left side of the frame.. but!!! if you look at the earth in the background.. you see that the left side of earth has a dark shadow.. meaning that either we have two suns or this is a (very nicely made) fake??? i dunno.. you decide :-)
@Tornfrombelow it is an optical illusion. It had me going at frst until my eyes adapted to the shadows being cast. At first it seem as though the craters were inverted to look like disk shaped hills and mountains.
distance!!! my god people the further away an object is the smaller it gets USE YOU'RE MINDS!

certainly different to the apollo 'earth-rise', one of them fake anyways, look for 'Behind the moon: Earth Rise'

Hmmm interesting question .
Maybe if the camera was actually ON the moon the earth would look bigger.I dunno.

@fanbutton Camera lens and zoom level can also change the relative size of the planet. Is this not true?

They cannot show you something if it is not there.......therefore we will see those people circle around like cats on hot milk.

I think it's a bit of an optical illusion the Hills are actually the craters. Which may help shed some light on the location of the sun in the video
