Looks like me driving around my Z with rusty fenders crappy wipers and a nice running engine. hit a bump a little fast and hood popped up and couldnt see anything once.
Well, at this point I've got flat black where there used to be sheet metal. Once I get everything mechanical fully sorted out, then I will get it painted for real.
Well, first off everything is new or rebuilt except the driveshaft u-joints and the LSD itself. The actual clunk in question was related to the 4 bolts on the differential support at the rear of the diff. They were torqued, but not quite enough. The locking washers were compressed, but they still allowed a slight play.
Regardless, it makes no noise when I drive at this point though I haven't approached WOT yet.
LOL!!!! "Do the brakes work?? ehhh good enough"

Thanks buddy, I'll keep it in mind when I tear my rear end down. They all seem to have some form of clunk but its probably 30 years of neglect :).

How did you remove the clunk in it? They all do that.
