@marleyJJJ1 Because I've beaten the game legit at least 5 times on different characters. Now I just level for PvP and if I need to get to NG+ asap, this helps a lot.

@MindsetReality That was patched, but theres a way to delete the patch and play a new character in offline mode... do the glitch, get 9,999,999,999 souls... then connect and download the patch, and bam... you can max your character out.

What's the idea behind that? You need many items and weapons before NG+_ so this idea is just stupid. And who in the hell will risk their save when they're doing Klin PvP - there is no bonfire you can rest at.

@Ziserain Pointless without the embers and by then you would have opened the areas that you can farm them from with a chance of a slab. You can even right from the start kill the guardian in New Londo Ruins and get chucks from the Darkraiths plus grab the very large ember. By the time you get to the depths you will have the ability to max upgrade normal weapons and normal armour.

Can someone help me? No matter how many times I jump off the right ledge and quit at the loading the screen the game refuses to spawn me in Kiln. I'm still playing in patch 1.03 by the way, I scared off Kingseeker Frampt, I've placed the Lordvessel (I'm not resting at it either). I do however, keep getting an infinite fire ball at the top right screen whenever I'm around the Firelink Shrine bonfire (It only seems to go away if I go near Anastacia or out of the area). I just want to get to NG++.

Yeah, turns out it only works with the 1.05 update. It worked when I updated, I noticed in 1.03 that I was never able to get an interruption animation touching the tree, in 1.05 I did. Maybe that's why it makes it work.

is it possible that this does not work when the firekeeper in firelink shrine is dead , and using another bonfire instead of the lordvessel, still i have 3 bosses left (nito,4kings and seath) i tried 20 times every time i spawn on the ledge @ lordvessel

@nikosomegas Same method as in the video, only instead of quitting the game you go back to the dashboard. Has the same effect if you do it right.

go to anor londo right before the boss room and use the black eye orb. kill lautrec and you will get a fire keeper soul. then u can give the soul to the corpse to revive her and be able to rest there :D

Note: there is a hidden boundary that defines where you spawn from a reload. If you stand directly in front of the door for around five seconds before dying, you will spawn in Kiln of the First Flame. If you jump beyond that boundary, you will spawn back at the Lordvessel.

Hmmm, I quit game when the loading screen was showing but I go to the ps3 main menu, what did you do to appear at the dark souls load menu?, unless I messed up something. I still appeared on the other side of kiln after I loaded game, It just takes longer with what happened to me.

Someone has probably mentioned this before, but just in case / since it isn't mentioned in the info: You can pvp to your heart's content if you invade via Darkmoon. There's plenty incentive already to use Darkmoon (Crystal Soul Mass does not function properly as a red phantom, still doesn't even in 1.05)

Another interesting note is that this does not appear to work if you rest at the lordvessel. I rested at Firelink afterwords, and it worked fine.

I did exactly what you said and it worked, I'm on Kiln in hollow form. The Firelink Altar door is closed so the only way I found to get out of here was to either suicide or use a homeward bone. Nice first attempt by the way, would love to watch more Dark Souls video with you talking on them.
