  • Most excellent. But what can we do? The political system is no longer even democratic - democracy implies a level of understanding and education that should underpin decisionmaking processes. If politics is failing us, should we then become guerilla "warriors"? And if so, how best to do that?

  • Good thoughts. Suzuki makes sense as usual. Ecology should inform economy. Our flawed political system seems to systematically pander to shallow, short term interests, and condones the strip mining of the earth in a totally warped value system.
