most of these comments are exactly what ppl said when burlesque began. and actually, it did originate from bellydancing. it's just funny to me that ppl still say these things. that is my fav move from her video. there may be better burlesque teachers out there but if u know of any good ones please let me know. i just started my collection of burlesque everything. my husband is loving my new hobby.

well, she s using bellydance move (the shimmy is 100% arabic move the way she does it).

this is insulting to many people of that culture of origin. i d not have a problem with it if she did real burlesque, i d actually like it. but combinin quite vulgar behaviour with a culture that s very sensitive is not right to me.
