The anime wasn't bad, in my opinion. It wasn't as good as the manga by any means and it suffered horribly when they changed the plot, but it was still lovely in its own way. Part of that's the music-a lot of people disliked Bee Train's adaption, but I dare anyone to say they dislike this music :)
absolutely love the touching moment between Kurogane and Fai in Clover when this song is playing. :) I actually hadn't heard the original Japanese, but the English, so this is very exciting to hear. ^_^
@randomgal8 actually its not that suprising, considering the fact that his life has been a LOT less complicated than syoran, sakura, mokona, and (especially) fai's.
p.s. just in case you might be thinking it, i'm not trying to offend you by saying this. its just that i dont get to talk about this kind of stuff to alot of other people and the tsubasa manga was just so AWE INSPIRING!!!
@elizabethbad ah, no worries :) true, it's just that he always has such a straight face! and I agree the manga was amazing some day ill reread it...definetly!

Honestly, I myself have seen only the first 6 episodes or so of the anime :D And I can tell you it sucks. Real bad. The only good episodes were the Tokyo Revelations and the Shunraiki OVAs made by a different animation studio. It's kinda sad because the manga is amazing and had such potential to be a great anime too, but Bee Train totally screwed it up :/
Yuki Kajiura's music pretty much the only good thing in the anime :D
@rous123 at least there is the manga riiight? Who cares if the anime is crappy..u still have the original awesomeness in the manga. I wanna know when exactly Fai turns vampire in the manga...do u know??
@kiyoshisohmasan96 Yeah, I'm not exactly an anime fan in general but I think it's a bit sad that the anime was a flop :/ That's why I only followed the manga.
@rous123 im not big on anime either....i do have to admit the whole chibi world thing they did for tsubasa was funny. Hahah but I much prefer manga. Thanks for the info!! Although I iz kinda scared...I am one of the million fai obsessed girls in the world haha....I think id actually cry or something haha. Beautiful song this s btw. Thanks for adding both romanji and english lyrics haha. I do like to know what I am singing haha
@rous123 well, you have to admit, the anime wasn't a total flop. we got to enjoy vic mignogna and christopher sabat as fai and kurogane and the episodes "mokona the artist" and "strength and kindness"
@elizabethbad Well, as I said I /really/ loved the soundtrack, and the japanese voice actors were pretty wonderful too <3 So it wasn't complete crap (I've seen worse). It just saddens me that the potential of the original manga was kind of wasted :/ And as far as the english dub goes, I'm not very familiar with it. But what little I've heard I can tell that yes, Sabat is pretty good. Vic Mignogna on the other hand... I'm not really fan of the guy. But yeah, that's just /my/ opinion.
@rous123 yeah, it was pretty lame of them to totally sidetrack the whole idea in the manga for the anime. the worst part, i say, was the fact that the anime was completely and totally inconclusive, save kurogane's past. after finishing the anime and not getting to find out any of syoran or fai's secrets i almost had a complete mental breakdown, but i wasn't very familiar with mangas then.
@rous123 i actually completely agree with you there... i love the story to tsubasa and im completely disappointed at how they ended the anime,... if a good company had picked up tsubasa and xxxholic together and made it the way clamp created the story then it would hav being 2 masterpieces without a doubt... and yes the soundtrack is the best thing about the anime adaption. and i loved the ovas too but they didnt even finish making anime ovas for all the arcs yet which im very disappointed in...
@DragonsChild666 i will tell you from experience the anime is still neat and fun to watch, but it is an absolute requirement to read the manga if you want to experience the true genius :3
