  • You should learn some Animals As Leaders songs

  • superb, and nice clean tone

  • WOW!

  • Sounds like a piano! :DD

  • Dude get a metronome, and you'll be perfect.

  • @Tweekerhead

Thank you kind of, I don't think a solo guitar Classical piece really calls for a metronome/robotic timing. However, as you'll see in my drum videos, I do have a metronome and used to use it on average about 2 hours a day for about 200 days in a row at one point I think...

  • Please, please do you have the tabs? or better do you have the guitar pro file?

  • @diego32811

I think so but do yourself a favour and learn to work stuff out. You've also got a video that is in sync showing exactly what I'm playing. I used to ask everyone for tabs and I'm so glad people refused so I learnt to DIY.

  • Dude you should get a Chapman Stick

  • what kind of tubes are you using and what kind of cab

  • that is a tasty clean sound man :)

  • I mean't the violin/cello (I think those are the original instruments) sheet. But I guess I'll give the rest a try by ear.

  • I do have that too but try that likewise =] all the other parts are = repeats, e.g, Violin one comes in solo, plays 8 bars, Violin 2 then comes in and plays those 8 bars whilst Volin is playing something different. So it's like *here is score of Volin 1* and Violin 2 = exactly the same but starts 8 bars later, likewise with 3 and 4 and however many Violins there are.

  • hey dude, you are amazing (the dude you just mailed)

  • Ha, thank mr =] was playing this at the guitar show in London today, was rather fun!

  • That was awesome.

I'm thinking of learning this, does it require a 7 string?

  • Thanks! Nah - I think the only time I use it is for the low D on the intro part, but you can easily octave it up or anything. The 7 strings (though totally not *needed*) really frees up positions to play stuff (in touch style you can't have 2 notes on the same string for obvious reasons thus sometimes close intervals cause strange fingerings). Got an 8 string on the way, should be fun to see what I can do on that! Thanks again =) Give moi a shout if any section confuses you too much.

  • Nice, my next guitar will definitely be a 7er.

Do you by any chance have the think to the original sheet music you transcribed this off of? Because I'm having trouble with everything after about 0:38, and it would be way easier. Thanks for the help.

  • I do but the easiest option doesn't always give the best result - what I mean there, is rather then me send you the tab/rely on tabs, try working stuff out yourself, it's such a useful skill, in time you'll find yourself reading tabs you thought were good + spotting flaws, you'll hear what strings riffs are being played etc, I don't mind sending you the tab but try it yourself first man =) See how far you can get till you struggle (it obviously starts easy + gets harder)+say if you want help =]

  • What kind of guitar is that?

  • 'Tis an Ibanez 7 string RG2077XL, discontinued now I believe.

  • ight thnks man!

  • WoW! That makes me want to sell all of my gear and take up bird watching or something.

    Very, very nice!!

  • Haha, keep your gear and try it for yourself! It really doesn't take that long to learn to play like this =]

  • NICE

  • Amazing ! :D

  • Cheers man, tis the wonderful Diezel Herbert + TC Electronics G-Force making it so =)

  • great drummer and guitarist sic your defintley a musician :]

  • Thanks alot =]

  • very nice!!!

  • Why thank you =)

  • what kind of guitar is that, iz lovely

  • Thanks, tis an Ibanez RG2077XL (Discontinued now).

  • thanx

  • Very well done - great choice to work on. That's a challenging and complex piece to be doing finger style.

If you can do that cleanly, you would be well on your way.

Unrelated - I advise all guitar types to check out Marques-junior. The guy's something else.

  • Thanks man, I've not played touch style in a while, I'm not sure whether to keep it up or replace it with other guitar practise.

I just checked that guy out and no doubt he's good but not my thing at all.

  • man, would you send me a tab? awesome version

  • why did it end? excellent work on a classic.

  • Because that's all my camera can record/I haven't learnt the rest of it, I want to finish it one day though =) Thank you.

  • That was awesome m8. Is there tab for that anywhere?

  • On my computer which doesn't work now there is *is on brother's computer* All I done was got a midi of it and arranged 2 tracks for touchstyle and sometimes could fit in a 3rd of what I believe was 4 violins.

  • Ah, cool.

  • ???

  • Nice one Sam! Keep up the touch style! I have it started on bass, the pink panther theme tune so far XD

  • Nice one! :D

  • Good, I gave you five stars but if you're this good why did you leave all the bum notes in?

  • Thanks, well, I was doing a few takes of it after I screwed up and I thought if I'm not good enough to play it perfect in one or two goes, why should I try and hide that? That's me, so here it is : ] I'm always practising.

  • Fair enough! I sometimes get like that with my videos. I do guitar lessons, check them out. I mainly do metal, rock or indie but I do the occassional obscure thing.

  • sounds like something from ff1 on nes..bad ass dude

  • Thanks man : ] Your Canon rock's quite awesome!
