Of what I have seen of the PvP fights in this game, (eg.1on1) the two players stand without moving, and use their attacks. If thats all what RvR has to offer, then it has a lot to learn from WoW. In WoW you move around, get out of range, jump, etc. and there was a more importance to range and moving around than what i have seen in WAR(stand at the same place, mash buttons, do dmg, and hope u use better attacks than ur enemy). Can someone please correct me if im wrong about the PvP in warhammer.

from what i've seen, ppl just need to learn... there are lots of ppl goin into this game and it's their 1st MMO, so they gotta learn about how to PvP in it... not to mention, ppl act as a barrier in this game as opposed to going through them (like wow). That alone make Defending a keep w/ 5 + tanks diff... Just gotta use your imagination ;)

After playing the beta I have to say I am only impressed with two things...

Public Quests and the ability to guard others in pvp.

It's a wow clone in gameplay, the goals are different but it's the same ice cream with a different topping.

Pretty graphics, clunky animation. They clash a bit. It still has alot of graphical issues.

I am sick of WoW, but this is not the answer I am waiting for.

not at all laggy. Conan had the problem of needing computers made from 2010 to work. FYI alot of new comps made in 2008 had problems with conan. this game went the middle ground so older comps I think up to 5 year s old can run this with out lag.

I think he believes WOW is more in depth than Warhammer due to his long of game play. Though this looks pretty much like it. Everything except that quest log look the same. I mean combat text, exp text, and even the party bubs are the same. I don't think it will have such a large fan base just due to the timing. Back then though it was a board game and rolling the dice. WoW however was the first to reach the gaming industry and the first of the two to become an MMO. Yes, WAR is most likely going to be WoW2 but it's more so in a good way. They're probably taking what WoW brought to the MMO genre and doing it better; just as WoW did to EQ which did to Ultima.
