we actually have a EUR 744.7 Million deficit trade with Germany (and EUR 7.43 billion worth of goods imported from there). Now multiply that to the number of east european countries buying all that german "crap", and you will have the german economy. Unfortunately people in Romania have a fanatic "love" for german things, which are over priced and generally speaking of lower quality compared to Japanese products.

Could have guessed! It's a car for like $100k++ that is made there .. And it would be a nightmare to get one to the shop to change the engine for example. Nothing today is ment for the aftermarket. It sucks!!

I'm italian, and I have to say that our german brothers are the best. We, as italian, put a lot of style in our cars. But when it comes to mechanical engineering ... no way, Deutschland is just top notch quality. What a good mix would be our style and their mechanical part. No envy, just have to be honest. If we could only stay toghether, we could beat every other car manufacture in the world.

One caught fire in the rain because of a wiring design defect [connectors carrying high mechanical and electrical loads without support], the other expired at 92,000 miles in spite of careful maintenance and gentle driving because of inadequate oil control and poor cooling system design.

Yes it is, they still rebuild historical sites like the church of our lady, it was completed 2005. It was a beautyful residential city, the capital of saxony, with a beautiful baroque city centre.
