This version of "O Holy Night" was the best I have heard. Thanks 4 adding the bio. I wish Quincy had kept him under his wing. Kelly Clarkston thought she knew better than Clive Davis and branched out on her own way too soon-and flopped for a very long while.
This version of this song always sticks in my memory...first time I really appreciated "interpretation" of a song we all know...since this version, there are several I really dig, most notably Celine, and Whitney does a version circa 2003 on her record that is also wonderful, although obviously not up to her spectacular standard (she set that bar so high, not me, gotta LOVE her though) this one just one just makes me smile and cry all at the same time, he's awesome.
