The Hezbollah and anti-government supporters will not be happy if Israel was referenced to as an ordinary country...besides, there was a recent war with Hezbollah, and most Hezbollah supporters (Shiite Muslims) have lost their homes and towns...

Moreover, Israel still has occupied territory in the South (Shibbaa Farms)...if Future TV (which is a pro -government channel) doesn't give the negative connotation off Israel, it will disappoint many of those who are against it..and little things like that (believe it or not) will be able to cause civil strife, because those anti-government opposition people are very extreme. The media in Lebanon, especially pro-government are walking on a tight rope 90% of the time. It's a shame to be honest
