  • with a bugle like that im sure you could pick up a scent from a bottle of water

  • Hi patrick, awesome review. I'm a woman that likes stronger earthy fragrances and dirty english was one of my favourites however it is being discontinued. Besides the two other perfumes you mentioned (varvatos and beckham), any other recommendations for scents close to this?

  • @MeInProgress I have had guys buy Terre D' Hermes as an alternate to Dirty English. Terre comes in an edt or edp. I would try both because they are both very different on the skin. I think the edt will be a closer match.

  • I just bought a full 3.4oz of Dirty English for 20 bucks......

Amazing for what you get. I think because it has a lot of woods it will do well in winter but still is pretty versatile.

  • I just picked this up at my Sam's Club (Costco) for $14.51 for the 3.4 oz. It wasn't even on sale, just sitting in the glass case.

  • @biggerm82 are you sure it wasn't the aftershave?

  • @triniazn Yep, it was the EDT. I bought it, even though I didn't care for it too much. Turned around and sold it on ebay after wearing it for a month or so. Doubled my money.

  • Can you recomend anything like the old abercrombie & fitch woods cologne for men?

  • @GreenSmokeSpot The closest fragrance I have found so far is YSL L'Homme. Woods was great. They should bring it back.

  • Can you recomend something like the old abercrombie & fitch woods cologne for men?

  • I really want something fruity, fresh?. Any recomendations?

  • @182MinutesOfFame Sure! Dior Homme Sport and John Varvatos Artisan. Also Clinique Happy or Lacoste Essential.

  • @cyclexy thanks! big help! im younger so the girls dig that stuff ha and your reviews are spot on so i trust ya lol

  • @182MinutesOfFame Thanks for the great feedback!

  • Review is spot on !

  • Thanx!

  • Your review is absolutely spot on; glad I saw it before buying. I agree with you in particular about the duration of the fragrance. After about 15 minutes the scent definitely seems to all but vanish, but those within close proximity are still able to detect it with little trouble. Over all, this is a great fragrance, one of my absolute favorites. Thank you for the review!

  • Glad the info helped!

    Thanks for watching!

  • I want to love this fragrance, but there's something about it that keeps turning me off. It almost has this slithery, oily feel to me. The drydown is the best part. The opening is terrible. Almost smells cheap or something.

    Thanks for the review,

  • Yeah this one you have to be patient with. This one is definitely not for everyone.

    Thanks!

  • Hi Patrick, great review. I inititially acquired this in a sample pack. At first I didnt think too much of it. After a few tries it really grew on me.

Basically I got hooked on the woody tones and now wear this to work all the time. I think you made a good point about it being unique, unlike other fragrances out there.

    Keep up the reviews!

    Dan.

  • Thanks so much for your feedback!

  • 'Hello, my name is Patrick, and I have been in horror movies for twelve years now. Now I'm gonna terrify here on youtube'.

  • This an accurate review. I just bought it today and I love it. It has many levels and wears nicely. It is warm.

  • i've been thinking about buying this one for the longest time, but idk why i always hesitate and end up buying something else. i think i will now that ive hear your review. altho, nothing is as great as Allure by Chanel :]

  • Make sure you apply it to your skin before buying it. This one does not work well for everyone. Good luck!

  • This cologne is awful, It smells whisky and nothing special.

  • ha ha ha

I love the beginning of this video.... 0.00 - 0.06

This review is like u r in a examination....

    amazing....

  • This is my favorite cologne!

  • dude best thing on the market

    nothing will get better (mo)

what is your most favorite cologne

  • mine is dirty english

  • Currently it is 1 Million by Paco Rabbane.

  • This is one of my favorite colognes (along with Eternity, Aqua di Gio, & Curve Chill). It closes out my range of fragrances. I wear it every once in a while, when the mood and my clothes are appropriate.

I'll disagree with Yerfer, I spray this on my shirts (never a white or light one) and it lasts a pretty long time. It is heavy, but it's nothing like Drakkar Noir. The spice is sufficient so it doesn't overwhelm.

  • No I get it. It has an earthy quality to it. It's staying power on me turned out to be better than average.

  • You need to put your speaking notes directly next to the camera so you don't have to look away so much.

  • Your hair looks too good to be true. I love my Dirty English - bought it almost right when it came out. My other scent is Dior Homme which I noticed you didn't have a video for but would be interested in your thoughts. Next I plan to get Wood by DSQUARED.

  • Thanks! Nope. Have done done Dior Homme. It is a great scent though. It is kind of a hard sell because it does not smell that good on a scent strip but when it dries on the skin it is great in most cases. He Wood is pretty good also. The bottle is very unique and creative.

  • I love this stuff.. i've been looking for a fragrance that I really thought was the right mix of sweet and woods for me, and I think I've found it in this one! very masculine!

  • hot ...love your all perfumes...more video please!!!

  • I love your hair!
