wow, so, idk what to do, i downloaded it and even have another cam thing from a while back but my problem is when i go to stream my desktop it doesn't register the camera programs.. it just says to use my actual cam:/ i don't think it's a case of firewall problems and i can't get an actual fix it anywhere because everything leads me back to all this mumbo jumbo about downloading camera programs..

@kylehansrob Right click the volume button on your computer and click Recording devices, Then right click and select show disabled devices and enable stereo mix as your main recording device and it will play any volume coming from your speakers.

@aj7419 No. I at one point upgraded to Win 7 when it was free for a bit. And i will say it was a lot better than Vista... but now i just have Windows XP. I feel that Windows 7 is no more than just eye candy, and XP provides more performance for my machine and gaming. But XP is not my only OS. I also use Mac OS X, which is great, and Linux Ubuntu 10.10 which is also great. But for Vista... eh... sorry.. I cant love it.

I want it to record only the sound coming from my computer (ie. music playing in the background from a music player) what would I select to do that? Is it just the other option in the audio selection?

@aly372 Yes, there is a way to do that. You just have to choose Stereo Mix from the mic drop down menu. If it is not there, then you might have to download a driver for your audio card. Then right click on the speaker icon on the task bar and choose Recording devices. Right click anywhere in there and make sure Show Disabled devices are showing. Stereo Mix should show up if its an available feature on your sound card. Then just enable it if it is not. Hope that helped with something ^_^
