It's hilarious fun, don't let anybody tell you how to have fun. Shoot, I went to a few sci-fi conventions in the day and became inspired to become a special effects CG artist. These things are where the fun careers can come from. I owe 10 years of fun and great $ to cons.

Oh don't worry. I never take any stock in the things hateful people on the internet say. I just felt it was about time to reply to one of them, as I usually just ignore it completely. Some people have commented on pictures of us wondering why we would be such dorks as to wander around in public in our costumes. I guess they're too short-sighted to realize we're posing at A COSTUME EVENT, not just out on the street randomly. Geez.

Um, we have quite a lot of fun doing this, so I guess your sister is just doing it wrong. ;D

I will never understand the insistence of some people that dressing up in costumes when it's not Halloween is just NOT an acceptable method of having fun. It's like, if you're not watching a sports team, or guzzling the end of a funnel full of beer, or watching titties bounce on a stage, you're just not having fun as a proper adult, and shame on you!

Costume design is our art. We like making them and wearing them. I like to think we're pretty damn good at it, and considering we've been special guests at international events to show our work, I think I'm right.

We don't wear them around town all the freaking time; we wear them to media conventions for sci-fi, anime, and video game fans, where they are welcomed and appreciated. If what we do in our free time bothers you THAT much, maybe you should take a look at yourself, my friend.
