  • KEEP THE LOW PROFILE!!!!

  • that tone is so clear and excellent quality but your style of playing isnt for me

  • I can't imagine people not liking this clip any other than poeple who doesn't lik ethis music.

    Nice job man!

  • awesome man, unique sound. \m/ what model is the camcorder u recorded this vid? the sound quality is very good.

  • @roofcrash ...an old digital photo camera ... sony or olympus or something like that

  • Sweet tone. How does that compare to a head?

  • @dsl100stack its a bit shallow but nothing an eq can't handle.

  • @alekke sweet. how would this be with passives, seeing that all your videos have active ppickups?

  • @dsl100stack no, I have som clips with M7. Best results so far ... Have also some clips with JB, although those are studio album recordings.

  • djent, djent djent! :D

  • do you still have the guitar mhb400 ltd ??

  • @burliufo no, it was never mine in the first place.

  • @alekke oh ok thanks for the answer :)

  • Dude I'm watching this video for hours now. Not only do I love your sound, but the part at 0:45 is just awesome!!!!

  • f*ck the tone - sh*t the bed!!!! was that some fun riffidge right there!!!!

is that a song? did you make it up??

    great playing absolutely loved it.

  • DBX215 in Amp Effect loop? in 530 fx loop? excuse my english

  • there is no amp loop. Its an powerAmp.

I think it is not in 530 loop also, cause I don't use it like that now.

It is in series conection after the preamp and before hush (or maybe hush is in 530 loop - don' remember)

  • get da low profajl! \m/ :D

  • Sick tone, dude! What's the tuning in there?

  • TNX! That was B regular.

  • i envy ur tone...

sounds a lot like unearth's tone

  • have you got my message?

  • no, it needs a bass guitar layer

  • it needs more bottom end. Probably due to youtube compression or... Behringer cab.

  • sorry dude, youtube was malfunctioned that day later I forgot ... Anyway, on that video you'll need EMG81 with 18V mod, and alder baritone guitar with 013-056 strings. Ampwise, engl, hush gate, eq and tube amp. rest in the inbox

  • xcvyxcv

  • yeah dude if you dont mind cause that tone was freaking amazing !

  • DUDE please tell me your settings!!!

  • most of the gear, if not all, is mentioned in the video info. I can roughly write how eq was set on preamp and equalizer if you want?

  • This preamp is sooooo much better than these crappy youtube demos. It helps if you know how to EQ tones.

  • Fucking awesome tone.

  • great band btw

  • i gotta get me one of these thingys

  • You sure do!

  • sounds awesome, very clear and crisp.

  • dobre su ti kontre

  • nice sound

  • do use the super c hush pro from rockron or just the hush pedal from rocktron ? does it do its job?

  • any idea how close to that sound i can get with a mesa 50/50 pa and a recto 2x12 cab? right now i'm using a podxt as a preamp.

  • Comment removed

  • i forgot about the g-major... that would also be in the mix.

    i want that sound!

  • Never played POD but I heard incredible clips with it and I think you could have maybe even better tones knowing you have mesa 50/50 and gmajor. Not so huge cause of the 2x12, but you have some serious gear there.

  • Killer tone & great riffing

  • how much all this equipment cost?

  • huh, like a better amp head. around 2600$

  • thats just the rack ... + the guitar and cabinet

  • i mean who much money is it gonna cost to produce this sound?

  • I'm not sure I follow ...

  • hey man are you playing a schecter or ibanez?

  • its an esp ltd i think

  • yeah, its an ltd mh-400B

  • Im not worthy of owning the same guitar.

All i can say is this vid is full on fucking sexy, your tone is brutal & your playing is too.

  • ovo mi je pre jebeno !

ni lundgren mi nije ravan ovom zvuku !

svirka je jos bolja. konacno sam skinuo ovaj sound check/ pjesmu !

    vidimo se u time-u !

    pozz !

  • Vidimo se! ;-)

  • Awesome playing dude, great mids in your tone.

That sound would really come right through in a live mix and sound crushing.

  • question...I just got one of these. I don't have a footswitch but I noticed a bit of a problem with the switches on the front. ..let's say I'm on the clean lo gain setting and want to go to the lead high gain. I have to press the channel button and the lo/high gain button. Is this how yours works too? Can you go directly from clean lo gain to lead hi gain or do you always have to change the channel and then change the lo/high gain

  • I dont' do much of channel switching so I dont have such problem but I believe that is the only way to switch between those two channels from the front panel. Maybe the footswitch have different options, I dont know.

  • thanks. Great sound and great playing

  • Great tone, dude. Awesome mids.

  • awesome guitar!!

i have an LTD SC-207. Low tuning rulez ;)

    also have a marshall jmp-1 + 9200 tube final amplifier...but damn!I can't get similar tones!

now i'll try with external eq...

  • What foot switch did it come with, and which one should I buy for it?

  • It didn't come with a switch. Engl z-11 is what you need, or some other analog switch.

  • If i were to buy the engl 530, what would you recommend for a cheap and reliable power amp? because i will definitely be short on cash after purchasing the engl 530

  • I've heard good things about the Peavey Classic 60/60.

  • Its difficult to say cause you in States have different life standard from us so I don't know what is cheap for you, so I can recommend peavey 50/50 as a good cheap tube poweramp and carvin ts-100, or you can use some of the solid state ones (like I do today - crate spa-200) but you'll need an eq unit then.

  • lack of gain ;/ for me, i want more

  • It can go higher, especially with louder poweramp setting.

  • What speakers are in that cab? it sounds like G12T75 celestians or G12 Centuries.

And what LTD baritone is that? M series?

  • actually speakers are Bugera vintage, darker and warmer than celestions.

yes its an MHB-400 LTD baritone.

  • Is the E580 much better than this 530? Because the price range is very different and you make this one sound very good

  • I can't reply on this with competence, but I think the main price difference is because of the midi controls and multiple channels on the 580 preamp. Not so much on the sound quality.

  • bro thats the tone ive been looking for all my life, are u plugged into a cabinet or straight into the comp?

  • This is recorded hooked up into behringer 412V like it says, and with plain digital photo camera.

  • sure, but whats a behringer 412v?

  • behringers 4 x 12" guitar box, V model.

  • can you do a vid with more gain and less mids please?

i would like to hear a vid with a scooped deathmetal tone

    please and thankyou! :)

  • Maybe I could. But with a different guitar nad poweramp. These ones were not mine.

  • is a more scooped tone possible from this preamp?

  • of course it is. it has 2 mid knobs so you can scoop whichever you want.

  • ok which of those 2 are good for riffs ???

  • I'd say go Blackout. It will lower the noise of your guitar and they are usually more stable when it comes to different tunings.

  • dude i ve got a BC Rich Avenge SOB guitar and i want to change its pick up ASAP ,.,

as it has only a neck pick up i was wondering which one to go for ...

even i am up only for riffs no solos for me ;)

and i like to play lamb of god and bodom

songs which ones should i go for

    either EMG 81(active) or

    Seymour Duncan Blackout (active)

    HELP !#!

  • You mean only bridge pickup?

For LOG alike go Duncan Custom or JB, for COB go EMG81 or even better Blackout.

If you can, try every one of mentioned. Your ear is the best judge.

  • opps yeah i meant bridge pick up :D

man i ve ruled out eng81 as Alexi himself switched over to blackouts from that one :D

now all that is left is Duncan Custom or blackout hard to say i tell u :(

  • actually it was from the hz h4 a passive with ceramic magnet simalar to but not exactly like the 81 imo.

  • ever heard of the 18 volt tweak for your emgs? so u can run 2 batteries at once, u get more headroom and your sound becomes thicker

  • I always played 18V mod. This was recorded like that. It's an old school trick.

  • sick bro, from the sounds of it u know what youre doing, it sounds tight but with good lows and mids and warm as hell, the sound im looking for

  • That was great man. IMO you'd be better off with good passive pickups, but still a great rig.

  • Thats why I passed on Duncan JB, hand rewound! Killah Djent!

  • BRUTAL! *horns up*

  • how is the behringer with low tunings ?

  • you deaf?

  • no , but webcam are .

i think i'll go for some old but still good peavey 4x12 w/sheffield speakers , like the ultra+ cab (412MS) it's about 300€ used (price of a new behringer) and it sounds great for metal ...

  • very good! Nice and warm! No harsh hi end! Stays pretty tight in lows too. Not like K-100s but tight enough!

  • Amazing tone man! Have you dialed in any good lead tones?

  • sory man, no solos, just riffing! ;-)

  • I neeeeed that pre amppppppp

    like right now

  • Do you have any vidoes-samples with less distorted sound. Im curious if 530 is any good for more chillout sounds too.

  • I think this preamp was designed primly for heavier stuff and it can cover everything from AC/DC, motörhead to slipknot and cannibal corpse.

Don't know what did you mean by chillout, but this is some hard core piece of gear.

  • ...and sorry I don't do softies ;-D

  • hahahahahahaha reci ti njemu xD

  • mind posting your settings?!

  • on Engl 530, lead/hi gain: boost bass and hi mid, cut treble, low mid on zero.

    on dbx215: boost around 60-100hz, cut 300hz, boost 600-1000hz, cut above 4khz.

on poweramp: all to zero or slightly boost.

  • Great sound!

  • Very mean, VERY cool!

  • Which engl poweramp were you using? Great sound!

  • this one was played on E840

  • Engl 530 sounds nice !! Has that new Metal sound to it.

  • damn! that rocks! got same the preamp.

  • so which pup you think sound better the emg81 or livewire metal? I'm looking to get a hmet.

  • bolje to zvuči uživo vjerujem :/...još da znaš svirat gitaru...;PP

  • I like the e530 and I like your riffs! Is this a cover or your own composition?

  • killer peace of gear!

yes, this is quick preview of our new song!

  • pa baš da je mastan i nije :D

    al je prejeben

  • što ti znaš? :-P

  • To ja zovem masan i jeben zvuk !!!!

    jebenooooo

  • To ja zovem gazenje gitare...
