For all the free roaming questions. It's exactly like the original mafia, very similar to GTA, but generally mafia is more linear in regards to where you have to go. in the original mafia, you could fuck about during the campaign but you didn't really want to because there was a game setting that is unlocked after beating the game called free ride extreme, which was amazing.

Yes that's right. Mafia 1 was inspired by Gangster Films which include things from Goodfellas, Casino etc.. But Mafia 2 is a Darker, and Grittier story and open world. and Mafia 2 is the real deal. In Mafia 2 you will experience the true story of the Mafia. Empire Bay is a Cold, Ruthless and Unforgiving City. Stay Tuned ! :)
