The final boss of this game was a douche. He toys with you for a while but then Bowser is joined by Koopa Kid and things get really hectic. So many bullets and when the lasers are fired you have to dodge both at the same time. They also got rid of the health meter from previous final boss fights meaning one hit and your dead and you have to go through the process of reaching him again. Mario Party 7 I have to say was the most challenging of the Gamecube Mario Parties.

you know when i did this on the solo cruise, my opponent kept getting a star and trying this and kept failing. my first time doing it, it was on like the 8oth floor or something like that so the computer did all the work for me. lol

It took me forever to beat it. In the end I was lucky at Story Mode.

The CPU made its way almost to the top and lost. That was my perfect chance to win. ^-^
