@TheKushNinja they used 3 different cars for this movie, built from kits. those were used for most of the scenes, and got pretty beat up-espeically the one that went out the window. a couple of those cars were later auctioned off. For some of the close up shots of the interior, however, they did use the real thing

the car was actually a ford mustang(with some minor adjustments) with a copy-cat fiberglass ferrari body. the scene where ferris starts the car to leave camerons house was shot a dozen times because it wouldnt start.
