@gavinjoaquinolivas depends on the game and there are some audio issues at times, but no emulator is perfect. the bugs and kinks (sometimes) get worked out over time... but it requires constant work from developers.

@ncpr707 My problem with Ocarina of time was that with Mugen64 when you have to get the sword, it crashes when you open the trreasure chest. In project64 the textures are missing and there is visual clipping. lol. Thus proving that no emu is perfect.

@GamerZoidExtreme All computers run emulators. Macs, PCs, and linux computers. they all have emulators (programs that copy consoles)... google emulators or gaming emulators.

i'm not sure. I have been thinking that I will check and get back to everyone... although I must admit that I'm a little confused. What's wrong with trail and error? and most games work better under different ones... although I know this isn't an answer and I'm sorry. I will atempt to steal back my aa1 from my GF and check the settings SOON!

win7? on a small laptop...? I would try to run the operating system that takes less away from the system itself. like i choose to run XP instead of vista which would run SUPER slow on this machine. HOWEVER, you STILL should be able to do everything you see... I just think that your computer would run smoother with a lower OS

no it actually runs a lot faster than xp imho... it's really amaing. i can watch hulu.. go on ms office.. and talk on pidgin with no lag whatsoever.. runs wonderful

uuh? i have only 1gb on my acer aspire one and works without lag. i played zelda OoT, Majora mask, mario 64, evangelion 64 and megaman 64 :)

in settings. or something?? idk off the top of my head. but i'd try both the settings or control config in the emu itself AND try the games in game controller config.

project 64? maybe you have downloaded a bunk emulator. try emu paradise cus gerneration roms is under construction right now...

done and uploaded a video to youtube. although, some minor sound glitches. video has some issues, but really is fine. ALSO, both video responses were done with the REGULAR settings. no tweaking. with settings tweaking, i think some of the video or sound issues could be fixed or improved upon.

how did you get it to run that fast? I tried running it om mined and it kept lagging and very slow? (same xp aspire model)

Some times I close the anti virus programs. Although that wouldn't do much. I'm pretty sure these are just the regular settings. If I were you I'd try and mess with the emulator config or settings. And then maybe head into the control panel and see if windows has something to speed up the graphics?

Sorry, I'm just not too sure. But there is no trick here. Just Project 64 and Aspire One.
