  • i can easy out run that cop with my v8

  • @haxpoor you could............ but the question is would you have the balls to try it

  • nice!!! hahaha that looks awesome :) and yeah the holden V's Ford argument is a waste of time. I had some random going on about his xr-turbo being able to drag my sv6 off and how slow the sv6 is.... but when i told him the turbo is just bolt on KW and he would be stuffed without the turbo and for the money he would be paying xtra in insurance id rather get a siko skyline or something that looks like its ment to have a turbo in it. he totally shut up after that :)

  • Awsome!!! GO HOLDEN'S!!!!

  • What, and Ford Australia does?

  • Did you see the new ANPR cameras that they are trialing in Auckland and wellington?

  • Interesting. A bit "Big Brother" for my liking, but it would certainly make it a lot harder to get away with stealing cars and number plates...

  • Also detects if you have no WOF or Rego and they can put tags onto the system to let them know if the car been driven is known for having gang members driving them or if it is a un-licenced driver that uses it.

  • and don't forget a stock Barra182 power plant makes 345Nm of torque from just 1000rpm and 365Nm at just 1500rpm, totally beating the crappy SV6 VE by at least 70Nm way to 20-30-40Nm across the whole RPM range across the techo, and another thing, a typical BA182 is de-tuned from 221kW/435Nm by the factory, CAPA flash tuner and good air intake can get ot close to 220kW/and just a little over 420Nm , throw in a pair of extractors and you're on the way to 460Nm and close to 250kW.

  • Clearly, the Falcon is a FAR better car, thats why the NZP haven't used them for 10 years and the Commodore consistently outsells it. I don't need told how good Falcons are, my Dad drives a slightly tuned EF XR6 that owns HSVs at the stoplight drags. But the Ford/Holden debate is such a waste of time, its like arguing that blue is better than red - you're never going to get anywhere. Might as well get over it and appreciate both for what they are. Personally, I'd rather have a Chrysler 300C SRT8

  • Oh, and whoever spammed FGXR6's comment above, please don't, its clearly not spam. If its that bad I'll remove it myself...

  • which HSV did he owned?

  • I'm with you there! Especially with the Chrysler!! YUM!

  • @thekiwicanuck

i like this comment cos my boss is a ford man, had many xr8s then secrety sold his last xr8 for a 300c lol

  • they're very poor as police cars, they lack torque if in V6 version and are of very poor reliability, Falcon is a far better choice, especially the E series and the BA/BF/FG series thanks to their big and long lasting I6 4.0Litre engine, a holden is only a holden with a 5.7 or 6.0L in it, otherwise its a piece of crap, thats the fact

  • Thought there was something new out when I had seen a new SV6 with the LED Light Bar. The old Custard Square(police term for Highway Patrol cars) is looking better!

  • looks great!

  • They look pretty kool

  • Nice!!

  • wow love it!

  • Awsome!!!!!!!!! Have not seen the red and blues in the park lights before !!!!!!

  • Thanks mate, me neither!
