@liam9654 It was live stages he couldn't pull off growling plus singing it was strain to his voice, if you are familiar with with killswitch engage he basically went through close to the same thing Jesse leach did, difference was christian didn't want to tour certain places and sometimes didn't show up for recording. I don't blame him for all the bands he is in, he was more happy with doing his own thing instead of the stress of tours =)

I'd say most studios now use Logic or Cubase, at least the smaller studios. PT gets the job done for what I use it for (tracking guitars and such), but apparently its really weak for midi and programmed stuff.

@AskeGuitar I tried most of the DAWs I wanted plus I have ProTools 9 (I got it) and I'm still running LOGIC 9 for everything I do. People refer to Logic as MIDI/programing application but really recording audio in Logic or Cubase and ProTools is absolutely the same. Just as midi sounds the same in ProTools, Nuendo, Logic...No difference in sound. It's just up to engineers and producers what they prefer. Export exact same mix from Cubase, PT and Logic. No one will be able to tell the difference.

I love how his accent disappears while singing in English. The American accent is the base accent for all other languages. Thats why non-american singers almost always sound like they have american accents. Basically, If you don't have an accent, you sound like a normal american.
