Hey Spunky, Just wondering... XD Can you pm what state you live in? O.o I live in BC Canada, I can come down and cruise wit ya :D I have a Honda CBR600RR Phoenix Edition 2009. I ride it once in a while. I try not to put too many km's or..Miles on it. bUT Yeah I got my license yesterday, then went for a semi fast cruise to and from the next city which is about a 20 minute drive or...like 15 minute ride depending on if you take the highway.

@Lowsid3r The audio is from an external Mic plugging into the POV HD. I use an audio technica lavalier mic. The mic is mounted to the inside of the chin area on the helm.

@RoadcraftNottingham Good to hear! I was thinking about sending an e-mail as well. I noticed that it fluctuated the mb/s as it records, sometimes leading to the jitter. I only really noticed it when recording on the very high quality at 1080p/24. For now, until that firmware update comes out, recording on high seems to help it. Glad to know it wasn't just me :D

yeh my brother started out on a r1 and had no experience. i started out on a 900rr with no exp. it is not that hard to get going you will have it down in a couple days. people think your just going to go wide open but its the opposite, you know your on a big bike so i think you take it a little easier.

@NYGfan122191 at least a 600. dont get a 250 you will regret it cause two weeks after you get it you will be like this thing sucks. now i need a bigger bike. start out on something bigger and take it easy you will get it in a couple days and be glad you didnt get a 250. or take a safety course for 200 bucks they start you on a small bike then you will be familiar with the bike dont waste your money on a 250.

@NYGfan122191 First I would recomend taking a safety class. You'll get some first-hand experience there, then maybe go sit on some bikes at a dealership to see what suits you. Talk to friends / people you may know with bikes and get their opinions. Whatever you may get, always remember to appreciate the machine!

Anybody know the best way to get rust out of the chain?

@shagy2k5 there's many different opinions on this. I just soak it in WD-40 and let it sit, but not too long, just long enough to loosen the grime. Then I buy a high-end chain loop and while the bike is on the stands, rotate the tire/chain (with the engine off!) and give it a good hand lube.
