  • Just bought the DVD, its wonderful!

  • I just saw something on TV about Lynda Carter, and I don't think of Wonder Woman when I see her - I think of this show. I remember that I loved the opening, but never figured I'd hear it again. So thanks very much for uploading this! It's as cool a theme song as I remember.

  • Yeah! A great (literally) great great classic of which I am probably never gonna watch a single episode. I am very happy such a series exists, moreover I thank you, Prosper30, for placing here at least its intro, but the fact that Mill Creek Ent is about to release it (so far as I know on 22 March) on DVD in Region 1 and is not to distribute it outside of North America (as I d need Region 2 product) makes me sad.

  • @AdamGabrielSvabek Can you not purchase a multi-region DVD player where you live? I have one here in the States and it lets me watch DVDs from all over the world...

  • I used to love this show too and was very bummed out when the show canceled.

  • This was a spin off from Last of the Mohicans with DDL hence the used scenes from it..

  • this show was on here at 1 pm saturdays in new zealand. i still got about 3 or 4 tapes of it. awesome show

  • Rumor has it that Mill Creek will release it on dvd in 2011!

  • I used to watch this when I were 12 years old,Sweden

  • Looks liek the british parading in front of the French, if I read the flags correctly. Surrender ceremonies to a fort I missed??

  • i remember this, i used to watch it every breakfast, god i wish he just died!

  • This show used to come on in Chicago at so many different times of the early morning. If I could not stay up and watch it, I found myself setting the recorder to tape between 1 and 5 in the morning because the times were so inconsistent. I didn't mind using the tapes because I was not going to miss it. I was devastated when the show was canceled!

    Lynda and Lee hat "IT"!

    ANDREA

  • wow, i hav been looking for this...i dont rememeber the theme song thou....i thought he was handsome....the last i watched this was when he was about to be killed ....

  • Glad someone else out there liked this show! Used to tape this in the afternoon on BBC1, I seem to recall. A DVD release is long overdue. I love the theme by Joel Goldsmith, too - a really underrated composer.

  • Who can forget Jack Munch!! or Captain Shields

  • @Astroman1990 I rather had a spot for Poor Captain Shields...at least they gave him credit for courage.

  • Wonder Woman and Uncle Ethan from "Paradise" - how can you go wrong? :)

  • Lee Horsley will always be 'Matt Houston' (Which has recently been released on DVD) to me!

Paradise was a boring drama along the line of 'Dr.Quim - Medicine Woe-man' but 'Hawkeye' was a solid action adventure series.

I really hope it gets a DVD release someday.

  • The Matt Houston (1st Season) DVD comes out on Tuesday (March 9). Let me see if I can get it at Wal-Mart for a low price.

  • I was young enough at the time the only thing I could remember was the theme. I stumbled across this video and recognized the melody it right away. Thank you so much for posting this!

  • yeah, i thought i was the only one who remembered it, it would come on LATE at night in LA..i think at about 12am if i remember correctly, it was very well done, too bad it didn't last

  • I love Hawkeye. Where did you find the DVDs?

  • Yeah I totally agree and I will always considered this series to be one of the greatest show ever. It has its full potential only to be axed at the end of season one. They dont know a real great program even if they bit them in the armpit, TPTB that is!

  • I've not found many people who remember this show. Have you ever seen any spots on the internet about it? I was a huge fan when it was on (which was all too short a time!).

  • I am still a huge fan, although it lasted only one season, unfortunately. But I love this series.

  • The series actually inspired me to read all of the Leatherstocking Tales by James F. Cooper. I only recently found dvds of the whole series. Before that I was watching my VHS collection, which was sparse! Am definitely a fan.

  • How does one find the dvd of the series? I'd love to buy a copy for myself!

  • "I only recently found dvds of the whole series" - Might I ask where? Am also definitely a fan, but has, alas, been unable to find it on dvd anywhere.

  • @KathrynChristie

I was too; in fact, its what started my fascination with the SYW era. nowadays, I volunteer over at a website dedicated to documenting the war, both in the colonies and without.

  • This was one of the great gems of the 90's. Too bad it didn't last that long. It was a very good show.
