@agimziberi those are early e30 bumpers. diving boards are the name. later ones have smaller more recessed bumpers. or you can opt for a mtech kit.

this is exactly what im foing with my 90 325 i, eventually when i have 5 grand to spend on a motor, and then another 2 on a supercharger, and then onother grand or 2 on the e39 m3 6 speed

the 87' 325 had aluminum bumpers that actually stuck out a lot further than any other year with aluminum bumpers.

I have an 89' 325i cabrio and my aluminum bumpers DO NOT stick out that far. i plan on getting my bumpers replaced with plastic bumpers. it just looks better
