you were watching this not knowing what's going to happen or when it's going to happen...so your mind is already playing tricks on you. then you get that eerie wicked feeling in the room like someone's watching you, so you start lowering the music down....

wicked creepy music has a spiritual affect on the mind. It doesn't let you think of things other than scary visuals, so you get the heeby geebies and start believing the evil that raises the hair on your neck. then you chicken out!
