  • This year USA Govt Revenue will be about 14% of GDP.

This is the lowest USA revenue % in DECADES.

The reason for this is mainly the massive tax cuts made for the top 10% under Bush.

Our revenue % is also quite low compared to most other industralized countries

Our spending % is much closer to other nations.

FOLKS -- WE DONT HAVE SO MUCH OF A SPENDING PROBLEM AS WE HAVE A REVENUE PROBLEM -- WE MUST RAISE THE TAXES ON THE SUPER-RICH BACK TO WHERE THEY WERE UNDER CLINTON OR REAGAN!

  • Ryan I love you but Im not sure I can ever forgive you for not running for President! Could you imagine a Ryan-Rubio ticket? They'd slaughter Obama!

  • Ryan is a horrible man, he keeps blaming others "except" the person who caused the mess. We ALL agree Bush goofed our country & world up... and Obama has come in and fixed most of the issues Bush created, so why is Ryan blaming Obama? it makes no sense and most likely why nobody in America trust Republicans.

  • LOL! Like conservatives have an answer to solve the debt crises. These are the same assholes how rubber stamped every dollar Bush spent, and he spent so much that he added almost 5 trillion dollars to the national debt. The only reason these idiots care now is because there is a democratic president.

  • It's sad that people like P. Ryan and the rest of the republitards have pulled the wool over some peoples eyes. They are the biggest threat to America, I feel sorry for any American that thinks these tea baggers are doing anything in the interest of average Americans.

Wake up my fellow Americans, these guys are about to sell you into slavery and a church run state of psychopaths.

  • @daveusaz1218 What if conservatives/republicans seceded from the Union and we made our own nation? What would you do without the productive members of society that actually work and aren't looking for bigger government that gives handouts ceaselessly?

  • @CiPHeR890 If your head was to accidentally slip out of your ass, You might be able to have thoughts that actually make sense.

So until you become a real American, Keep your confederate mouth shut, the North won the war, so get over it.

Paul Ryan, Eric Cantor, John Boehner, Mitch McConnell are nothing more than terrorist to the democratic process of America and would be happy if they can turn America into a dictatorship run by the church perverts.

  • @daveusaz1218 Why is conservatism so bad to you? Forget the social issues some of them believe adamantly in, and just think about keeping the bucks you make. That is, unless you are of course unemployed. The left doesn't care about you, all they care about is getting your vote by making you as dependent as possible. You should be happy if the evil conservatives you don't like made their own country.

  • @CiPHeR890 You are a typical right wingnut, what ever the right wing politicians do, they turn around and blame the left. That crap may work on sheeple but not on me or the majority of Americans, so you righties better hope you're successful in keeping voters out of the voting booth and hiding ballots in the trunks of your cars and rigging the electronic vote because if the real majorities voice gets out, the rebublicans will be spending eternity with the Do Do bird, Especially the teabaggers

  • @daveusaz1218 Whoa, I thought you leftists didn't like to stereotype? I guess that's wrong. How progressive of you. You better make sure you can get as many illegals to the voting booths without photo ID's as you can!

  • @CiPHeR890 Voter fraud, ballot fraud and keeping legitimate voters away from the polling places are all inventions of the left wingnuts. They do this because they cleptomaniacs and they will do anything to turn America into a church run dictatorship, sponsored by banks and international corporations as the overlords to the corrupt churches and politicians.

Paul Ryan is just a cheezy used car salesman turned politician for a quick buck performing on the reality TV show they call politics

  • Look how they play the victim when it suits their purposes. They give the asshole credit for just putting out a plan. A plan that takes away from Americans who cannot afford to lose one dime of the American promise to take care of its citizens. There is only one way to fix entitlements. LET THE BUSH TAX CUTS EXPIRE AND MAKE THE CLINTON TAX CODES PERMANENT. Jobs, the economy, and the debt wereall on the decline long before Obama came to office. Your KOCH brother masters chose well.

  • don't buy don't comply and don't fly!

  • Mr. Ryan speaks of his concern over the current financial and political state of our country. But, apparently, is not so concerned as to do anything concrete to bring about the greatly needed change, such as running for president. It is the Repbublicans who are failing us.

  • ~GOP's Paul Ryan uses"projection"when ACCUSING Obama of"class warfare". CLASS WARFARE is what REPUBLICAN$ have been waging for the last 30 yrs. Since the Reagan& Bush tax cuts,_the wealthest have been paying less tax than at anytime in America's history._ More jobs have been lost in said period than at anytime since 1929. PAULIE,everyone form NY to Janesville,WI(your hometown)to Seattle knows that YOU are out to DESTROY MEDICARE..TAKE YOUR CORPORATE DONATIONS& RETIRE.YOUR LOBBYING JOB AWAITS.

  • Seriously, why the hell did this man not run for president?

  • @mm102908 He would make a good Vice President under Romney, but I wonder if 8 years of that would ruin him.

  • Ridiculous. Read Rick Perlstein's _Before the Storm_ and _Nixonland_ for a credible narrative of the sources of our current divisiveness. Unlike Ryan's rant, Perlstein grounds his work in careful research.

  • Damn, is this audio low enough?

  • Paul Ryan said it well about current problem of government. I don't agree about decreasing tax rate for the riches though. I think it would be great pleasure to see Obama vs Paul Ryan debate for 5 straight non stop hours asking questions each other without moderator.

  • oh that's rich. the Reps started this whole biz with conspiracies left and right. Now they don't wanna finish it. OWS is moving sky high, and Rep. shithead's gonna learn it the hard way.

  • Only democrats/liberals know how to regulate jobs OUT OF EXISTANCE!

  • Vote all job-killing Republican liars out.

  • It's really surprising me how my children are more conservative than I am. Needs not Greeds.

  • Ryans cut cap and spend would have reversed the deficit!

  • This is fantastic

  • In a survey of those below the poverty line, only 18% were still below the poverty line 10 years later. What does that tell us? It tells us that there is upward economic mobility in this country. It also tells us that about 18% of those in poverty are stuck there because of themselves: drug use; lack of ambition; "hanging around with the wrong people", as my Mom used to say.

  • @jbranstetter04 - Agree 100%. In this great country, with all of it's wealth and opportunity to achieve education and wealth, there are people who choose to be poor. Poor people aren't stupid and they aren't physically or mentally unable to work. If they are mentally or physically unable, then we take care of them, and that's OK with me. I truly believe that being poor in this country, is a choice. If you think you can't, you won't. If you think you can, you will.

  • @NAGGERNUTZ Don't say that it is a choice, as much as it is just a position that many people are in for part of their lives. Many rich or well to do people were poor at one time in their lives. When I was young, I used to read the Readers Digest that my parents had in the house. I remember reading an article about what the rich men in the article used to do for work when they were young. Construction; washed cars; cleaned toilets; worked in the hot sun. Now think of the Wall Street protesters.

  • @jbranstetter04 - I know. I grew up dirt poor. In the winter, you could actually see the snow coming in around the window sills. But I can take you back to the same place and the same neighbors are still there living in the same 30 year old trailer or tar paper shack. There's nothing wrong with them. They're intelligent enough to carry on a normal conversation. They just believe that they're supposed to be poor and that's what they'll always be. They waste their money on drugs, beer and tattoos

  • @NAGGERNUTZ Where do they get their money from? Do they get Social Security Disability? I guess because their brains are disabled. The big question....is there an answer? Should we starve these people to death, or should we just keep supporting them? Maybe we could train them to...let me think....take care of themselves. Just so you know, I would never let them starve to death.

  • @jbranstetter04 - If there's a government program, they'll make sure they qualify. If you took away their "gubmint check", I'm convinced they'd be working tomorrow. Nobody starves in this country. If you talk to any homeless person, getting food is the least of their problems. There's a church funded soup kitchen in practically every town. There's nothing wrong with a hand up... I'm just against hand outs. Did you see the John Stossel report on the homeless? One lady begs over $200 a day!

  • @NAGGERNUTZ I went to a Wendy's to eat and saw a guy getting out of his Cadillac with a sign, a cardboard sign, the ones that say "I will work for food". Just through the trees was the off ramp where I always see them there wanting money. Looks like he made a good living at it. I rarely give money to bums. I gave some one year, right before Christmas, to an old guy who looked just like Santa Claus, well, at least he looked like the Santa Clause I saw in our family room when I was little.

  • @jbranstetter04 - The best thing to do is give to your church or local charity. There are people who have legitimate problems... they have a house fire, or some natural disaster and really do need help. We have a place here called "Loaves and Fishes" they give away all kinds of fresh vegetables, cases of canned food, jugs of drinking water, day old bread, etc. Yeah, those guys who beg at traffic lights make as much as $300.00 a day and wouldn't work if you paid them.

  • @NAGGERNUTZ I heard on the radio here that they have a private organization here giving away winter coats for kids. I always wonder how a parent cannot afford to buy a coat to keep the kid that he had alive, but I guess not everyone is like me. I often wonder if these parents who get coats for free for their children, if they buy $5 coffees and stuff like that, stuff that I don't buy. Do they buy beer but cannot afford a coat for their kid? I guess we can't let the kids freeze.

  • @jbranstetter04 - Funny how these so-called poor people always seem to have enough money for a new tattoo or nose ring, but can't afford a decent home for their family.

  • @NAGGERNUTZ You really might want to stay away from Fox and Rush for a while, pookie.

Your brain is turning into a cheese.

  • _+America DOES have a REVENUE problem which SHOULD be a matter of NATIONAL SECURITY. Since Reagan, REPUBLICAN CLOWN GOD, the GOP AGENDA has been to REDUCE REVENUE in order to facilitate PRIVATIZATIONor ELIMINATION of programs such as MEDICARE,SOCIAL SECURITY,UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS& others.**^^~PRIVATIZATION would be followed by an INCREASE in the costs of these services thus generating HUGE PROFITS at citizens' expense.INSTEAD of generating revenue REPUBLICANS want the NEEDIEST to do with LESS.

  • @poindexterwitkowsky You've drunk all the kool aid those dirty COMMUNIST DEMOCRATS provide to sustain your delusion by bitching, whining, and even lying to preserve the pathetic disposition of entitlement.

Government after government, left or right have created the problem by introducing the "Nanny State" and producing good for nothing lazy people like you. GET A JOB!

  • @poindexterwitkowsky Then by all means, cut a check to the I.R.S. today and give them as much as your able to afford! Do your part, don't just set on the fence bitching your liberal mantras or msnbc talking points, talk the talk and walk the walk! How is the easiest way to spot a liberal/democrat, when they call huge tax hikes on every American... revenues?

  • @poindexterwitkowsky Your only recourse is vulgar profanity in a private messages coupled with outlandish lies about your education and work ethic. lol

  • One of, if not the, smartest people on capital hill. But we're starting to lose the movement. Barry is succeeding at painting the Republicans as only protecting the rich, and union busting. Why don't they point out the success in Wisconsin? Why don't they point to the stories of cities and counties, all of the sudden being in the "black" financially -- without having to fire public employees? The reform has been a huge success. Now talk about it! Point to those successes!

  • Cain/Ryan 2012 would rock the house!

  • @Rhiannon003 you are so right!!!

  • I like Paul Ryan he is able to express what needs to be done.

  • WE THE PEOPLE have reach Obama fatigue. Enough already. Now GO AWAY Barry.

  • I like Ryan and I agree with his positions. I don't think he conveyed his points very well in this soft-ball interview.

  • Ryan is disappointed in Obama? I'm not the least bit disappointed. He is everything that I expected and more. Unfortunately.

  • @carcabe - Agreed. Well said. Mao Tse ObaMarx campaigned on a far-left agenda. Sadly, at least 51% of the electorate only focused on how well obama spoke and they didn't listen to what he was saying.

  • Barack Obama is a dream.

In 2008, the dream was "hope and change." In 2012, it is "progress thwarted by evil partisans and selfish greed." As Gertrude Stein said “there is no there there.” Obama is a corrosive hack that needs enemies to draw attention from his lack of depth, for he is truly a mile wide and an inch deep. He is an illusion; always appearing to be more than he is, more promise than reality.

In the end, America suffers most from the machinations of the man who was never there.

  • @USA4July1776 Excellent post comment you made. I agree. I am so over Barry , can't wait until he is gone from the white house.

  • @USA4July1776

Awesome comment. Dual emotions toward the unfortunate individuals who voted for this fraud:::1) sympathy for their incredible naivete and obtuse thickness, and 2) anger for their having enabled this charlatan to begin the destruction of our system, as he is now attempting.

  • @USA4July1776 On the other hand there's always the tiny possibility that you're unable to admit your addiction to the harmful draw of the right wing corporate media and grotesque "think tanks" like the HF.

    Grow up. Reality is calling.

  • @integral So you're unbothered by propaganda as long as it sings your tune then... thanks for coming clean.

  • I have to say I really like listening to Rep. Ryan.

  • paul ryan is cocerned that there is class warfare if so maybe he should quit shitting on the middle class. if he's looking in the mirror he sees one of the problems

  • @pistol996 LMAO, if fixing the economy is shitting on the middle class then you have a point, but otherwise you are a democrat stooge.

  • wear a burka for halloween

  • There are no 'sides'. Everyone in office obeys the mandates of Council on Foreign Relations & they will continue to war on countries like Iraq, Syria, Iran, Sudan, until everyone has a privately controlled central bank. When Republicans are doing it, Dems will balk. When a Dem is in office, Reps will balk. It makes for great debates, but it's all a bunch of bs. Since we're being taxed by both parties anyway, bet it go to other Americans than to bombing foreigners, but we're the worker bees.

  • We'll be voting for Rob Zerban next year, not this duplicitous obstructionist who was responsible for digging the hole in the first place.

  • It may take decades to fix the mess POTUS has created.

  • Leftist Media Promotes obama, so Few Know All the Truth.

  • @3martijns Wow, did you say a mouthful!

  • @tjbollman1 Conservatives need to Speak Out Much More!

There are Twice as Many of Us as there are of Libs, but they are Very Loud, like out-of-control Delinquents! If we made as much noise as them (without the nastiness), we would Drown them Out!

  • @3martijns Amen! And I have the feeling we will be heard really well in Nov. 2012. Please God!
