  • we all love your dad he fought his heart out for america i soulutle him

  • Thank you for the service your father gave. God will welcome him with open arms for his sacrifice

  • your father has the greatest respect i could every give.

  • why did they have m4s arent they supposed to have rifles?

  • @redsoxfan12341 To the best of my knowledge there is nothing that states that the firing party has to use the traditional M1 style rifle. The Old Guard stationed at Arlington uses them but depending on the unit that sent the funeral team down, they might not have had any available.

  • R.I.P Sorry for your loss.

  • Im so sorry for your lose. I have two brothers that are active military. They are not combat but they are intelegince. not sure if i spelled that right.

But anyways, i fear for their lifes everyday. But i want to thank your father for giving us one more chance at freedom. Your family is in our prayers.

  • its so nice to see that there still got real Taps players out there for military funerals!!!!! we have fought hard here to make sure they are not cheated out of it!

  • Thank you good sir for serving, honoring, and protecting the united states. You are my hero.

  • Great respect is owed to this man. He signed a blank check made payable to the Nation for an amount up to and including his life. Helps give the rest of us the continuing right to brag we live in a free country.

  • With the highest respect for the deceased. The bugle is a recording. 33 years playing the horn.

  • I see some haters and some respectful people. All I'm gonna say is thank you for your father's service. Hate/Love the war/military/government, your father held more bravery in his pinky than most of us Youtubers will ever hold. I thank him for that, and I offer my sincere condolences.

  • God bless America and all of its soldiers who fought and gave their lives fo protect our freedom.

  • Thank you! Words cannot express the Thanks I have for you Father.

  • God bless you and your father may god have open arms towrds your dad.

  • the service of your dad is remembered.

    Memorial Day, 2010

  • Thank you for Serving our Country.

  • I am sorry about your Dad. God Bless him and your family. I am sure he is watching over you and those he loves in the company of Our Lord Jesus and all His saints. God Bless and take care of yourselves.

  • Great service, but earl07866 is correct, it's a fake bugle. Those of us who are real buglers can always spot the fake bugle by the length of a certain note that is a dead give-away. I recently attended a funeral of a Marine vet who was a life-long trumpet player. The Marine Honor Guard did a great job except when it came to the toy bugle. He was standing so far away you could hardley hear it.

  • My grandpa died on Tuesday, and yesterday was his funeral. Being a Korean War veteran and recieving a honorable discharge and a Purple Heart, they had a couple Navy personell play taps (on a Sony boombox), and handed the flag to my gandmother. It was really a beautiful sendoff, just like yours. Sorry abour your dad

  • earl07866: The Bugle at my father's funeral was real. I'm sorry you are mistaken. However, I really appreciate you taking the time to post a comment. Thank you!

  • I will also confirm that this Bugle is 100% real. I have had the very unfortunate and saddening duty of attending several military funerals in my time a US. Marine and I can honestly say this is one of the most beautiful and befitting displays I have ever witnessed. May this troopers soul rest in peace.

  • @Gentzor I am involved as a Bugler in the rendering of Military Funeral Honors for nearly 2000 MFH details. The Military doesn't have enough Buglers to sound Taps at the 1000-2000 Military Funerals every day. There is even an organization, founded by Marine Tom Day, of over 7500 civilians and veterans who step up to assist our war-time Military in the rendering of this sacred honor with a real Bugle/Trumpet.

  • @AugieTee Please understand that I meant no disrespect to your Fathers service to the global cause of freedom.

You must be very proud of him. I'll bet he's proud of you.

    God Bless

  • @AugieTee I had a grandpa get laid to rest on Tuesday, (2 days ago). It was a military funeral and let me tell ya, it was the coolest thing ever, made me feel very proud of my grandpa. I will miss him a lot and it is going to be tough these next couple weeks and months, but this was truly awesome and I will never forget it. At the time I was sad like I said, but you think about it, its really cool.

  • @AugieTee dont worry about what other people say you were away from the bugle in a wind been to many military funerals they did nice for your father and thank-you and your family for sharing some people just dont get it never will your dad was an honerable bless him and our troops

  • @AugieTee it does not sound real at all

  • you are sadly mistaken. please do not post on any more of our fallen brethrens memorial videos.

  • @earl07866 you can see him in the video playing it

  • Thank you for making it possible for me to have a good life in freedom sir. May God welcome you home.

  • god bless
