Thats why the most important plot of the footage was to laser target MC as he came in from space to "Finish the Fight". actually the first 8 min. video is real....it was a test version made by the team who made district 9. Halo had some issues getting all the rights from bunjie which put the movie on hold temporarily....so district 9 was created instead. The first 8 min. vid was like a screen test. seeing how the costumes and props all looked on the screen and the type of response it would get.
