muslera, the uruguayan goalkeeper was really young going into this world cup. he only had a few internationals in experience which meant he was very inconsistent when he played. in all fairness, had muslera been in the form he was for the copa america, it would have been a lot harder for germany to win and it really could've gone either way. in saying that though, i have massive respect for the germans - it was a game they won fairly and with pure talent! best of luck for the next world cup!!

Honestly, you're right. Spain played like a bunch of pussies, and their game was terribly boring. And Holland just played flat-out dirty, I did not like their matches at all. They only beat Brasil because they pissed the hell out of Kaka and the forwards.

Uruguay had the legendary trio: Cavani,Suarez, and Forlan, and had a really good young team.

While Germany had one of the best keepers in the world, and amazing midfielders/forwards
