What kind of technique do you use to blast so fast on the double bass pedals?

@ireternalexistence i called the swivel technique. if you could see, his right foot was swiveling from left to right on the fast parts which allows him to go faster but use less energy. hence the "swivel"

sure, you can hear the basdrum on a perfect mixed track and after processing it on your computer, but I think this wouldn't be the case in a live situation... I also think the basdrum doesn't sound good, the way you edited the drums is actually not that different in comparison of using triggers. the difference is that most trigger sounds are better than the sound you have right now... great cover though

@MagicalJohnny well im not uge.. but a very good way to increase speed is the ankle motion.. just let de ankle go down and up, without moving the entire foot, practice bars of 4 8 12 16 and soo on, try to increase speed every time you feel you can do it.. hope that help

You do an awesome job, the only thing I think I'd like to hear as well is your rendition without the double pedal your using, it seems to have a different effect on how well I can hear the beats from your pedals, as opposed to what George is using. Everything else sounds the same.

@DominusNile Yeah man, if you're playing really fast metal, you want two bass drums for a much clearer sound. As Dave Lombardo said, if you use two pedals on one drum you're not allowing the drum to "breathe" as the second pedal hits the skin as it's still reverberating from the first hit. Kollias uses two bass drums.

@doublebassrox George uses two AAX-treme chinas one is 19" and the other is 17". I can tell you this, if you loved them in Nile, hearing them will make your ears cum(and they are loud as hell!!). Also i own the 19" which i suggest buying, but thats up to you.

This, including many more of your videos, is insane! Especially given your age! You're very talented and are bound to excel. But on a very small note, the moving camera angles can just be annoying at points. It's kind of unprofessional, but whether that was intended or not, with your drumming there is absolutely not any need for dramatic effects! It's epic enough already!
