This is legendary ......the guitars sound so beautiful but yet so dark n heavy its so good. I love this song now all over again! Best band on the planet right here...this is when they didnt give a f and did their muthaphukin thang on stage!! and had fun!!
I hope Korn puts out another album like this. I like that they are going back to their roots, but I think the Korn style was perfected on Follow the Leader and Issues. This album did one thing that very few albums have ever done. It felt complete. You could listen to this album like reading a book. When the final seconds of static faded out, it satisfied. I want to make an album that good someday. Korn have taught me a lot for the biggest part of my life.
@Idkfawin32 I really think it was a mixture of everything they have done musically. It has the experimentation of Untouchables and Untitled, but it has the aggression of their first 3 albums. I also think that Jonathan had some of his best lyrics on this album. I also think Korn were a tighter band on this album. Everything was hidden by electronics and effects on Untouchables, though it was still good, they became slaves of their equipment, so most songs weren't played live.
@LifeJuice90 wow i know exactly what you mean! everything in Follow the Leader from hearing "It's On!" an amazing start to"My Gift to You", a perfect end to the album, it was so heavy and emotional, and "earache my eye" was just a nice bonus, you couldn't have asked anything more from that album. They could have rode on the success of that album a little longer before creating Issues but they didn't hesitate to make something else groundbreaking :)
john made a mistake with his own lrycis, he wsaid i dont wanna even try, when its i dont even wanna try- that doesnt make this a baad performance though.
Without head is probably just doesnt sound the same anymore...My guess would be without head and other reasons they had to cross out alot of songs they could still perform live...
I was lucky enough to go to this concert. Only 250 tickets were handed out. It was a listening party for their new Album which explains no one really moshing cause everyone was just trying to listen to the new music awesome night in NYC
I've been a Korn fan for 11 years and I'm finally going to go see them in Columbus on May 16th at Rock On The Range. They're fucking gods!! I'm glad they're still around in some form after all these years.
ya like seriously i think they need to look beyond the #1 hits which kick ass and start playing shit like this..its songs wake up that make the album just fuckin complete
@Alterbridge321, They don't hate each other. So i'm hopin they get back together- THE ORIGINAL 5, no offense to Ray.
