when i went to california there was a tornado warning. i didnt know what it was because in canada we dont have tornados often.

Once i was watching a commercial for a show called rupert and it made the weird tune then it said "Rupert is- EGGLAND'S BEST." because whenever there's an alarm it always has like a little part of a commercial in it x3

i have about 7 tv's in my house and whenever there is an alert, my tv is the only one that gets its whole screen blocked...fucking ridiculous.

Last night, when we were watching Family Guy on Adult Swim, we saw an Emergency Alert System bulletin. It was in white text and it was a Required Weekly Test. My sister was scared of the beeps so we decided to mute it. When it was over, we put the volume back on. End of story LOL

It wasn't a red bulletin.

@tornadobabe1011 I can assure you this isn't fake. The ticker appears longer than the TV because I have a widescreen HDTV and the episode of Family Guy that WBDT-26 was showing didn't support the full 16:9 aspect ratio. Instead, it was showing it in the 4:3 aspect ratio, used by the standard square TV. Also, on this channel, no spoken information or instructions are given for EAS alerts.
