...Somebody needs to tailor the Captain's shirt - It looks like shit and should form-fit much better than it does. Frankly, it just looks unlaundered. Sorry, I don't mean to 'nit-pick'. Just my opinion - I could be wrong...
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Garrovick's f-you to the Tressaurians at 3:17 is one of my favorite action sequences in all of Star Trek--professional or amateur.
omg I actually got lost in this and totally forgot it was fanmade!! I'm not sure it's because it's based on the older series so you don't expect the amazing effects, but even the little you had were really good! Acting top notch, music and sound effects make all the difference too
There's not suppose to be fat people in star trek. Wait, before you get on my case for that comment listen to my reasoning. Medical care has improved so much by that time that they can give hypospray injections to alter metabolism. This is more than likely why we never see fat members of starfleet in TOS or TNG. That and it is probably a requirement to be in top physical condition.
There were fat people on Deep Space 9. They weren't in Starfleet, but since they were living on the station they could have easily had treatment if it existed.
Just because they improved their methods of administering drugs and performing surgeries doesn't mean they automatically have cures for everything in a hypospray somewhere. McCoy mentioned they still hadn't solved the common cold. Even in TNG, Geordi had a cold once.
@TomKoit Frankly I like both series. They each have their differences. I don't expect them to be the same. Cawley wanted to play Kirk so he recreated the original Trek to continue the 5 year.
@TomKoit The latter of which is all too common in Star Trek fan films. I dislike space operas because they lack any plot; focusing almost solely on 'crew relationships' bores me to no end. Why should I care about them when they haven't even DONE anything except create love triangles and screw each other?
One would think the captain would remind the doctor that "the Andorian" has a name. Is the doctor prejudiced against Andorians? Also, B'fuselic sounds kind of like Chekov.
This is better than having people try to imitate the Shatner Kirk or Nemoy Spock. Really a smarter way to tie in a new production with the old series.
A really perfect job... under many points of view, not only special effects that are sincerely the best I have ever seen for an amateurial work... not to mention music and sound. It is even better than the original series for editing. Innovative but very close to the original concept, which is really difficult to me. Great job, 10/10 !!
i guess if you had antenna that could detect gravitational and magnetic fields as an evolutionary survival adaptation to living near violent earthquakes and the alternitive was to live on a barren frozen planet surface then it would be very logical to live underground. Humans...pfttt, lol

@LittleEmoBoy001 That and these shows are produced in Hollywood

@LittleEmoBoy001 Both TOS and TNG had ship's gyms.

This is so much better than the phase two series.
First: There are actor which don`t try to imitate Shatner or Nimoy they play there own roles.
Second: There are no needles gay scenes.

Why didn't you just call him a Gorn.
Zebonka 2 years ago
Most Gorn are green, so maybe the Tressaurians are a genetic offshoot, like Romulans are to Vulcans.
benvolio15 2 years ago
Fair enough I guess - and 'The Gorn Intersection' might not have been as interesting sounding.
