So far, turning game series into MMO, MMORPG, etc didn't do any good. I don't want to see such a good game turned into crap.

What do we see in Nexus multiplayer? Different ships and components are available to everyone... Well, 'cept for ships like "VIP" ones...

While MMORPG games tend to make high level player's equipment much better than low level's.

Come on, it's a war! They hardly manufacture enough ships, what to say about "high quality black market equipment", nobody even does that!..

They do not have master servers anymore. I am trying to start a network using Hamachi for Nexus. Download free Hamachi client and join a network named "Nexus Reborn". Pass it along, maybe we can revive this great game.

i dont think you can pirate versions of games. wat happens is thier is a programme that checks for weather its legit or not so if it ain legit then it gets kicked offline. so get a legit version and problem solved but as far as i know no servers run online anymore.

I have a problem. Every shield in a game is undestroyable. It's kindda stopid to watch massive battle where noone doing any damage unless target has no shields at all .help?

do you know about using energy shells/ bubble shells/delektron shells? certain type of weapons do damage to shields and some dont. like the Anti-g does alot of hull damage and lowers shields. If thats not it though then reload your game, might fix it

I made all my ship weapons energy shells, it still make no damage to shields at all. In level where I had to prodect the convoy one pirate had an normal shield and I could damage. Others are indestructable. The only way to kill pirates is to scan them, then with fighters destroy their flack cannons and shield generators, but I allways get damaged too much in scanning process

have u ever heard of anti-shield weapons?? take out the shield and disable it's device with the lasers or use a strong laser to pierce the shield and hit direct for the device. u can even use an ati-shield torpedo but watch out for your shields;))

then take them with your tactical laser out forever (when the shields are down) or better long range weapons

Well, I can scan enemies to find a shield generator and attack it, but then enemies rip through my hull(seems they have dificulties penetraiting my shield too lol). I don't get it why in mission where you have to escort those stupid freighters everyones shield working fine, but in next mission they become invurneable, even if my all weapons are anti-shield

It's not really a 4x game, as there is no resource gathering or base building of any sort. It's a real-time-tactical game, actually.

Ok dowload skirmish from the web side of te game or you can play skirimish in myltiplayer there is only one map with a picture of a battleship

read the text the bots are AI in the game if you see the map :) play and try to complete the campain on expert :)
