Sick car!!! MY dad wants me to get into motorcycles but I wanna learn stick in a car first. Which one will make it less confusing to learn? Bike Or Car first? (I already know how to drive lol just not stick)
@GoonOnFire Haha thanks for the comment! Honestly, I find it a lot easier to ride a bike using the clutch and shifting gears than in a car. I don't have much experience with manual cars. Plus I almost stalled the car. I have never stalled my bike. And I have been riding my bike for over a year now. But my friend taught me how to use the clutch in his car first before I ever got on a bike. So that lesson really helped me when I rode a bike. I hope that helps!
@PhinsHeatCanes Im not sure if that was an insult....or? Lol well he doesn't have any sport bikes (We had a couple of buells but sold them) and he is just an overall safe driver. So if I am going to learn it would be from someone who is as safe as him.
@GoonOnFire A car's clutch def takes more time to learn than a motorcycle's. However, driving a car safely and staying out of harms way is vastly easier than on a motorcycle.
@GoonOnFire seems like people have no sense. Knowing the concept of driving stick certainly makes it easier to ride a motorcycle. And it is many times easier to avoid accidents on an agile motorcycle than in a average car(hint the s200 is not an average car ;))
@GoonOnFire the pleasure of driving is changing gears in a manual transmission. Feeling the mechanics work around you..pff there's nothing better than that trust me ;) (of course I am talking about a gearbox of a Mercedes, BMW or Porsche..maybe Audi..those give real pleasure when shifting gears.)
@HPG45 Yeah I was being a bit sarcastic about the "5 foot" , I'm 6 foot tall and can barely fit( and no I'm not a fat ass). I have rode in a del sol too, and I couldn't tell much difference... if the s2ks are roomier it's not by much.I like the car...I just can't sit in it for long at all.
@rocaho001 or near redline, w/e. but your wrong. Power at top end is better in the ap1 so its much faster than the ap2. if your racing your constantly in vtec range. the ap2 2.2 liter engine has a better low end for easier daily driving but at a sacrifice of top end. so yes Ap1's are faster
@gpower88 2.0 liter is quicker i agree . if u know s2ks history ,only the 2000- 2003 s2ks were the fastest s2ks. They had no traction control .the newer models have a delay mechanism in the transmission which make them slower but preserves the transmission for longer periods.
@DtoWnSux1 2.0 revs up to 9krpms 2.2 doesn't but has more low end torque, take your pick any year from 2002 and newer are amazing with their own benefits.
@strictlyformyninja i thought i read somewhere that u ride motorcycles...its kind of the same concept, but obviously different bc ur using ur feet, i guess its somewhat alike.
that muffler is raping my ears. get it replaced.

@GoonOnFire YOu dont have to buy a car.. all you need is one lesson.

@GoonOnFire Some dad you have man, bikes are highly dangerous. I recommend a car of any type over a bike... You cant trust the road now a days.

@PhinsHeatCanes Btw- You are right. I guess it doesn't matter how good YOU are at driving when the road is full of assholes.

@GoonOnFire IMO bikes are way easier to learn on, but there is a lot less room for error.

I rode in one for an hour, and couldn't wait to get out! Those things are so freakin tiny. If you're over 5 foot tall, good luck fitting in there!
jcaled24 3 months ago
@jcaled24 I'm 5'7", and my Del Sol fits me well; the S2K has to have more room than it's sister car/predecessor :).

@jcaled24 Gotcha, and yeah, even with the bucket seats that feel so contouring at first they do not do well for extended drives.

@HPG45 Yep, It's sporty, aggressive looking, pretty zippy, fuel efficient, reliable, very economical...... If only it was half ass ergonomical.....

more low end torque - nothing more. you cant "feel" the difference between the 2.0 and the 2.2
i got a 2.0, a fiend has the 2.2 - from 6000 rpm the 2.0 is quicker
gpower88 5 months ago
@gpower88 The ap2s are faster stock. Deal with it.

@TheJDM626 No you're wrong. I personally raced both you moron. More torque at lower RPMs = FASTER you stupid shit.

@DtoWnSux1
if you buy the 2.2 you wish you could rev to 9.000
if you buy the 2.0 you wish you had more low end torque
i would go for the ap1 (2.0) its more fun!

@gpower88 but does the s2k ap2 have more engine potential?
