For the first trilogy, they built a life-sized Millennium Falcon for the filming, It was made out of wood, and steel, and could be taken apart and rebuilt in sections. It had no interior, but it did have the working landing ramp, and space for people to walk out of it. It was used in the scenes where it was landed.
Ground clearance is determined by several parameters, including the curve of the hull, but I've chosen 2m headroom for each egress ramp (port and stbd) at the end of the ramp... just so you don't hit your head...

cool stuff. Are you using the new updated size for the thing?

what is the updated size of Millennium falcon, if I may ask?
simhopp 2 years ago
I have approx 70 parameters that define the shape of my Falcon... (all in meters)
diameter 27m
core height 6.9m (think apple core)
fence height 1m (around the middle)
bore diameter 5.79m (core hole)
shell sphere radius is derived from the numbers above...
need more numbers?

@brookestephen
over all length? including the mandible, etc.
ground clearance, ie ground to core bottom surface, ignoring the gun and gun mount.

bow to stern is 34.8m
