The Kusabi is the creepiest thing on the FF games to me; there's something about the way it still floats like it's hanging and tethered that bothers me! @_@

Super scary.

If you play the xbox version (entire game in first-person), you might end up a gibbering wreck. Especially after Chitose, the Kiryu twins' house and the "chase" bit.

Its considered one of the scariest video games invented. I can't make myself play it either.

It is very scary the 1st time u play it but afterwards you get used to the ghosts and the gameplay, and then you get all the camera equipment and feel like a god. Thats when you start toying with the ghosts and just messing with them for fun.

i like this game because me and my cousins were playing this game at night and next thing u know a mothefucker comes out the wall and starts chasing u and specially cuz its japanese and japanese games are scary and awesome

Has anyone here gotten through all of FF2 without using codes for extra film? I swear - I cannot get through this without using codes for the films, as there is not enough of it lying around. Just when I think I can get through without codes, there's always extra ghosts that show up, i.e. Broken Neck (she scares the $hit out of me!!!), the Mourners, etc. Looking forward to hearing back. Thanks.

Yes. I dont use codes because its not fun. What you could do for extra film in FF2 is go to Easy, then use Type-7 to take out all or most ghosts. Thats what I did and I ended up with like 99 Type-14 Film. Too bad in FF3, you cant do that because it resets when you start a new game.

Thanks for the info - I've got a LONG way to go; I'm starting Fatal Frame II over and then will try Easy mode. Is it possible to get through Normal mode with the limited amount of strong film? Will have to order FF3 when I finally finish 2. This is one of the best horror games I've ever played, and I LOVE the song "Chou" by Tsukiko Amano. To me, she ranks up there with Kou Shibasaki ( I love me some Kou). Thanks again, KojiKazama.

You're welcome. It is possible to finish normal with limited film. Use mainly Type-7 and Type-14, and dont fight optional ghosts or take pics of ghosts already added to your spirit list. Tsukiko Amano is awesome. I would suggest you get Fatal Frame 3, because it is improved in both gameplay and graphics?

Well, sorta. The Kusabi is used to appease whatever is in the abyss. This Kusabi is Mr Makabe. After he was thrown in, Sae was sacrificed but they did the ritual incorrectly by throwing only 1 of the twins, and Sae came back and brought all the darkness with her, including the now angry Kusabi.

I know I should have said this before, but you can only hide in the closet safely when you first enter the Great Hall. The reason is that the Kusabi has not yet seen you and wont follow you. But if you get too close to him and he starts to chase you, DO NOT GO INTO THE CLOSET! Rather run to either of the other 2 doors.

but if you went up the stairs, after you took a picture of the door wich then shows you another door that has red hand prints all over the wall, and what do you do? i went down and went to the great hall, went into the coset and after i came out, kusabi/ropeman killed me

Ah, yes. At 00:23 I returned to head to the Blood Stained room to fight the Limbos. It turns out that you cant hide in the closet there because nobody can make it back fast enough before Kusabi sees them. Also heading in that direction, the door to the closet is further than the door to the dirt hallway.

MAN you got guts lol me my hands were shacking lol but I do have to say that is cool you found that out, I remember one other part of another room where it turns black and white where the kusabi comes for you very creepy stuff

were you trying to get him to leave that part so you can have it to explore. and you had to do a certain thing to have it leave or follow you?

Ah, well see, on the forum of BCL we were discussing how at one point I was able to walk into the store room, then Ropeman just disappeared and I had the whole room free to myself during chapter 3, which is not normal.

So normally we would enter the room and run past Ropeman who starts to chase us, but when I tried it again in this vid, I realized that he actually walks in a pattern.

And that he will go to the door and respawn in the center each time. Most people would just run past him, without knowing this. It's not a great piece of info but just a "Did you know" kinda thing. I'm still trying to find how I glitched it the first time, and record it.
